    Chesterfield match thread

Missing the game today due to 'family commitments'. I think there will goals at both ends, 2 in the first half, 3 in the second, so lose 5 nil.

How can we put it right?

Some people may have said £40m, I think you're the only person who keeps quoting a figure excluding land, so a wide variation. My estimated figures are based on £30m including land, I think that's realistic. Also an interest rate of 4% may if anything be on the low side. So £1.2m a year of...

How can we put it right?

Dave, your Bournemouth figure includes no land, and is based on figures from years ago (I know you have added standard inflation), have a look at how much grounds cost (or even extra stands) these days. What is this additional profit you talk of?

    Doncaster Match Thread

I think you may well see a game today where not a single tackle is made by us in midfield. I hope Madine and Madison can work some magic, but I sense a big defeat.

How can we put it right?

A new ground outside of Coventry may give marginally more income than staying at the Ricoh as I believe although crowds would be a fair bit lower, they would gain income in other areas. However to fund the interest on the cost of buying land and building a ground would take 5,000* fans a game to...

    Million dollar question

Thanks. Higgs must wish they had never bothered.

    Million dollar question

Sounds about right, there were different components to the overall value of the deal as I understand.

    Million dollar question

But of course we received 50% at the start for £300k, thank you Council. Then we sold our 'worthless' share for £6m, thank you Higgs.

Were SISU offered the same deal as Wasps, Yes or No?

    Million dollar question

The club could sell their old ground, and then be given 50% of a brand new one, which according to OSB cost the club £300k. Those things could have saved the club.

    Highfield Road money.

Some interesting bits in this article which I hadn't read before. Full article http://www.yorkpress.co.uk/sport/yorkcityfc/diary/10705313.print/ HE was once the second most expensive goalkeeper in the country behind England legend Gordon Banks, and Alan Stevenson also looks a safe pair of...

Hawksbee and Jacobs Xmas eve show on Talksport

If you didn't say it, why would there be any reasoning. But anyway, I genuinely wish you well with the show.

    Trust!

Didn't you say we had some good news coming our way, any chance you could speed it up.

Hawksbee and Jacobs Xmas eve show on Talksport

How is it out of context, you either think we've a better side with them or without them, sorry if I've misread, pretty sure you prefer the players we have now. I don't think I gave a reason why you said it, but I would guess it was because you thought it, how have I screwed it up? Hopefully...

Hawksbee and Jacobs Xmas eve show on Talksport

Good luck, probably best not mention that you think we're a better side for no longer having Wilson, Clarke, Moussa, Baker, Murphy and Christie. :)

Higgs reason for sale to Wasps false pretences?

Well now you've put 'end of', I guess that's that.

Higgs reason for sale to Wasps false pretences?

CCFC aren't contributing much to ACL at the moment though, the rent is £100k isn't it, then they will presumably get parking and F&B money. I can't see this money being the make or break for ACL now.

Higgs reason for sale to Wasps false pretences?

If I was forced into a guess I'd say they would develop, but like you I've no facts either way. Just because you have debt doesn't mean you don't develop, in fact you may well take on debt to develop, an intelligent man like you must know that. This thread though was about the suggestion that...

Higgs reason for sale to Wasps false pretences?

I think this is the quote from The Times, he isn't talking about the land as the property asset, he's talking about Wasps. So either he's said exactly the same answer to the Cov Telegraph about the land as well, or the Telegraph have reported out of context. "I mention that some Wasps fans...

    New Stadium Announcement

I was guessing at £10m for the land, but depends on all sorts of variables. I'll have a read about Bournemouth rebuild (got a link?), I guess your inflation calc suggests it was a while ago.
