    Badge coming down :(

On 25 July 2012, there was a meeting of the various parties, including the Leader of the Council, Mr John Mutton, at which it was agreed that an Indicative Term Sheet would be finalised. Draft Heads of Terms were indeed signed by the Council and SISU, on 2 August 2012........the terms included...

    Badge coming down :(

No idea, what are the differences? Why did SISU agree 125 years before, why not 123 or 129.5? Once the lease lasts longer than the stadium the number is largely irrelevant in my view, but if anyone can list the differences I'm open minded about it.

    Badge coming down :(

What practical differences does the lease have after the year 2139? I would say none, and I guess as SISU were happy with 125 years before, they would still be happy.

    Badge coming down :(

SISU knew they could have a 125 year lease, as the Council and SISU agreed on that as part of the original Higgs deal.

If it's true that Fisher agreed to staying with a rent of £400k, only to be overruled, presumably by Seppala, then he would have played it well.

If we can claim money back for bad players the club is worth a fortune.

The report shows £833,366 in the business when it went into liquidation – followed by £50,000 recovered from HMRC through a VAT claim. The business now has just £9,673.43 after paying out other sums including over £46,000 in solicitors fees to Stephenson Harwood LLP and £30,000 to...

    Trust Letter

it's a good letter, deserves a reply. Surely though if you've given a deadline at least wait until then before trying to put pressure on.

    Has the penny dropped yet?

It wouldn't appear to be a great list of choices, I think it was get out now for a large loss, or get out later for a possibly larger one. Too much of a gamble for them. Of course the lease hadn't been extended before the Higgs deal was agreed with wasps, so Higgs couldn't get more for their...

    Has the penny dropped yet?

haha, ok. I'm sure Higgs are kicking themselves.

    Has the penny dropped yet?

Chiefdave was asking about CCC, not entirely linked to the extract. You seem to be getting yourself confused.

    Has the penny dropped yet?

You seem to have convinced yourself that I've said a 250 year lease is worthless, which of course, I haven't. I've seen the offer of £1.5m with an extra £4m unsecured, which was also linked to a bank deal that was destined to fail, and talk of a £2m offer. Which one of those is better?

    Has the penny dropped yet?

I think this was still the failed £5.5m offer, and SISU were thinking they could pay £2m-£5m to discharge or take over the loan. So ACL may have a liability to a SISU company for a loan. Yes, the Council would still have their 50% to sell.

    Has the penny dropped yet?

You're right SISU should have put an offer in when requested at the end of 2013. What practical difference does the extra 125 years on the lease mean. What do Wasps get for the extra £1m?

Yes, the extract does have other words in it.

I was highlighting the lease extension part, in relation to James' post.
