    Supporters forum 17th January

I can see the family zone getting a bigger season ticket price hike than elsewhere come next season precisely because of this. Whilst missing mid week games for certain age groups is understandable, it does appear that a fairly large number of adults have taken advantage of the cheap family zone...

Showing support for Palmer on Friday

Looks like the CCFC facebook page has joined the messaging for fans to wear their 2 tone kits in solidarity with Kasey Palmer on Friday.

Match Thread Sheffield Wednesday - Coventry City [FA] Match Thread - Friday 26th Jan

Wednesday also have a mid week game to play so I imagine they are as likely to rest players as we are. Its a real tough one to call teamwise but the likes of MVE, Saka & O'Hare looked a bit leggy in Saturday's game, and we could really do with them freshened for the Bristol game. However...

Showing support for Palmer on Friday

@Mcbean - That's a fantastic shout. If the club itself are not allowed to wear the kit, what a great message of support it would be for Palmer to see 4,000 Cov fans wearing 2 tone. Would be great if this could be championed by the movers and shakers amongst our support to publicise the idea and...

    Championship thread 23/24

Surely that wouldn't have altered how the goalie set up the wall though! Also what goes around comes around (even if its ancient history). I still remember Steve Hodge taking out our defensive wall to make room for a Stuart Pearce free kick in the League Cup semi final at the City Ground in an...

    Do we even miss Hamer?

Some people really do dislike Hamer, I guess on the basis of the sort of stuff Saddlebrains wrote, and also by his social interaction with our fans, which always seems to piss off elements of our fanbase for some reason (Biamou and Baker being other previous examples). While Saddlebrains has had...

    Josh Eccles

No doubt he doesn't play like O'Hare (who does?), but at this moment he is more likely to have been brought to play in place of O'Hare than Eccles, even if it doesn't happen until next season.

    F1 fans

I suspect the F1 thing has a fair bit to do with the close locations of many of the team set ups having headquarters between Cov & Oxford, and with many of the technical crew originating from Cov, with our traditional connection to the motor industry.

    My concern with Robins

I believe at various points both Stoke and Sunderland have sounded MR out about moving on.

Wasn't he something like Magwitch as well?

    Transfer targets

At Oxford he was still finding his feet, and clearly didn't fit into how they wanted to play. He has now had 18 months football behind him, is impacting games and has his confidence back again. He will be a completely different player than rocked up at Oxford after leaving us. I just thought now...

This team will be better than the 22/23 team

I can't see the top 4 changing, although I expect Ipswich might slip a little and finish 4th. They have so many points in the bag already I just can't see their form slipping so much that they would finish lower than that however. In regard to the other 2 places we have got ourselves in a nice...

    Transfer targets

Can't see it happening but now Jones has gone away and got his confidence back tearing up League 2, I wouldn't mind having him back now that we are playing a system more suited to him.

    Callum contract offer

Yes, before his injuries he was the most fouled player in the league, but even so was never away for the odd week here or there with niggling injuries that other players get, and was a permanent fixture in the team. The 2 long term injuries he had from the start of last season were innocuous...

    Ref

You keep saying this, but despite lots of people asking you I've still not seen you say what Thomas should have done instead. It was physically impossible from where he was for Thomas to curtail his follow through, just as it was for the Leicester keeper when he did that kung fu kick that Godden...

This team will be better than the 22/23 team

While your confidence is justified given our current form, it would be dangerous and complacent to think that no one below us can average 2 points a match for the rest of the season. History tells us otherwise in there are many instances of 'surprise' improvements in the second half of seasons...

    Milan

Yes, I'm sure I rememberan ITK (can't remember who) posting that MVE was a bit of an arse and not popular with the rest of the squad. Alongside O'Hare he is the absolute heartbeat of the team, and I love how his combination with Sakamoto is developing. Defences we play against on that side...

Video Mark Robins and Callum O'Hare react to Coventry City's win over Leicester City 🎙️

He was particularly one eyed. To be fair that is a trait of the most successful managers - particularly straight after the heat of battle. I'm also not so sure MR would have been as magnanimous about their penalty if it had decided the outcome of the match.

Bristol (H) moved to Tue 30th Jan 7:45pm

I guess you would rather we had lost to Oxford so that you could have had your Saturday game? Unfortunately the more successful a team is the more their fixtures will be moved. This is nothing new, well maybe for us it is, but if we want the team to do well it is unlikely to get any better.

    Flags ?

There was a bigger attendance for our play off final than there was for the FA Cup final.
