New Manager Shortlist down to 9

I'm glad i'm not in their shoes. Picking the right one out of the names that have been mentioned isn't going to be easy. The only one i could eliminate straight away would be Kevin Blackwell. Steve Staunton was at the game yesterday. I have a bad feeling it's going to be him. I don't think...

    Kilbane...

He was. That challenge in the first half summed his performance up. Awful.

    Everybody Calm Down

I knew someone would mention Bartons lack of interest in the tackling department and rightly so. He pulled out of most challenges, but i think he's just scared of something happening to his leg again. No suprise really. I thought that might be the case with him. He has been brought in to be...

    Everybody Calm Down

Good post. The Linesman made a shocking decision disallowing Elliots perfectly good goal. How late did he raise his flag? Idiot. That stands and we win. McGoldrick played well and is a positive. He showed desire, determination and scored a cracking goal. Credit to Stevanage, they did what...

    Shaw on the radio

Well said. Lets not berate a former playing legend. He was never going to get the job anyway, i'm sure of that. I think the rot that set in years ago, is so widely spread through the club it quickly affects the players that come in. Lets hope it doesn't happen with the next appointed manager...

if we get relegated to league 2 ...

The Impact Arena, Alfreton, is a possibility at this rate! They smashed Luton Town over the weekend. Forest Green is another one. Not sure how many games Cov would be victorious in League 2 with the current squad.

1st Prem Manager To Be Axed?

Talk about putting unnecessary pressure on themselves. I seem to remember Sheff Uniteds chairman saying something similar. Europe in 4 years i think it was. Look at them now!!!

    Paul Tisdale

It's starting to sound like Wilder will get the job, but i think Tisdale would be a better option. He has the better track record. Although, it sounds like he's a bit of a :jerkit: from what i've heard.

Green Bay are also live on Sky at 1am this Thursday against Chicago if you didn't already know. You might have to book the day off work if your considering watching it! Only downside to NFL. It's not the same when you record it. Not an easy start for 'the pack' is it? 49'ers and Bears in...

    Swindon Town

Of course it's related. He's a joke. Got away with his antics so far but it was always destined to end in tears.

    Interesting article in the Guardian

Glad that someone in the media has taken an interest in the clubs dire situation. Hopefully it might generate some concern from someone, somewhere, with a big bag of cash and encourage them to invest. It's so sad to see Cov in this state.

1st Prem Manager To Be Axed?

Well said. I've long thought that of Levy. Don't know how he gets away with it. Spurs finished 5th didn't they under Martin Jol and they still got rid of him. Same happend to Harry. 5th place in the Premier last season and he still got the bullet. Levy must be a gooner.

Although i don't follow a specific team in the NFL, my two faves are the Jets and Philly. The Jets as i've always loved NY and always wanted to go there. Philly probably because of the Fresh Prince or something lame like that! Seriously though, i like Philly cos of a cool film i watched about...

    York away

Nice little old skool ground. They're on about leaving it for a new one in the next few years, so people won't get many more opportunities to visit Bootham Crescent. Although i think they've had a few objections from the locals about the proposed developments. Out of interest, does anyone...

    Paul dickov

In fairness to Dickov, i think he does actually have the potential to become a good manager. Just not sure if this is the right move for everyone. He'd surely give the team a kick up the backside.

    John Gregory

:laugh:Well said. I wouldn't want him at the club. I heard him on talksport yesterday. What a drip. The club needs a manager that has something about him. Gregory's just plain boring. The lads need inspiring.

England's Oxlade-Chamberlain and Wacott to start v Cov?

A frightening thought. The Ox is awesome. Walcott is as well when he fancys it. Its going to be tough whoever they play. Their youth team would beat most League 1 sides.
