    UFO's

Did you see something? Was it moving through the air? Do you know what it was? If you answer yes to all three, congratulations - you've spotted a UFO.

    UFO's

Always wary when they release stuff like this - what is it that they really don't want you looking at. If politicians/military/intelligence tell you to look left, the best thing to do is look right.

    UFO's

Without a doubt. And probably far more of it and closer to home than we realise. It'll just be microscopically small. Look at the wierd and wonderful animals/plants etc that live on this planet in the present day alone, let alone stuff that's long since extinct like dinosaurs and fungi the size...

Great. So if we do get contacted it'll likely be by the alien equivalent of an adenoidal speccy tank-top wearer. Better than Zarg the Destroyer I guess.

    UFO's

I know a few years ago there was a thing about experimental ramjets/scramjets that could theoretically go something like Mach15. Saw a video of a test where it was attached to a normal jet to get it airborne and released. The thing shot off into the distance like the normal jet wasn't even...

    Preston demanding embargo

Half the time it's a centralised story with 'find and replace' to make it local

The 'quality' has improved, but it's still far from great. People get it from there predominantly because it's cheap, not for the quality. Many reasons for that - cheap labour, not giving a fuck about IPR, state aid in some cases.

EFL Decision on Coventry’s future expected today

Are you unaware that a slight lifting of restrictions in Germany has seen cases increase again? Just because people have started doing things doesn't mean it's right or that it won't lead to problems in the coming weeks. Playing football isn't worse than that (and will probably get way more...

    Preston demanding embargo

Not really on top of this story but do you not think he's referring to clubs that have taken on the furlough scheme? After all our players have voluntarily DEFERRED their wages, not cut them. They will be due the balance in the future.

    Coronavirus (CCFC Related)

Why can't you grasp that some people can be right on something and wrong on another. The fact that his MO is to get shouty at people doesn't mean he's wrong to question the government handling. I don't like the way he goes about it, but that doesn't make him wrong for doing it. And just...

Probably a way to get more money into the military rather than provide healthcare

No. But the point I was making how you were saying how Labour did such and such as if it was unique. I was just pointing out it wasn't. Only way I can do that is compare to the Tories. Didn't say Labour weren't doing what you said, but no point in repeating your assertion. And as I've said...

You think they'd know the rules on business balance and false economies. Or at least adages like "you get what you pay for" "pay peanuts, get monkeys", "buy cheaply, buy twice" and "buy cheaply, pay dearly" But that oh so important short term gain for shareholder benefit means common sense goes...

Tories are all about growth at all costs. Economic growth. We've seen from this pandemic that we've almost certainly done poorly because rather than focus entirely on the health issue there were voices saying "but what about the economy". Johnson's speech about being willing to stay open shows...

So the issue isn't really about voter stupidity it's about how you acknowledge it. Tories are sensible enough to know voters are stupid and play to that without saying voters are stupid. Labour on the other hand goes "this is what we're doing and if you don't get it you're thick"

Again, what do the Tories do? Go full on attack on Labour and ignore their own failings. Anti-semitism vs Islamophobia and their own anti-semitism problems? Brush their own under the carpet and slam Corbyn and Labour. Massive budget deficits and rising debt. Problem for them all but say...

Whereas the Tories are renowned for owning up to their errors? They deflect with whataboutery (Labour anti-semitism when they've got a much larger problem themselves) Corbyn and Russia but where's the Russia report? What the Tories do is when the pressure gets too much is get rid of the leader...

Yep. As you say explain is not the right word. Spell out a simple slogan or 'target' for those that never bother to read the manifestos and make sure they take parts of the policy that appeal to that demographic (as a general rule tough on crime, immigration, fund education, NHS etc.). So for...

Which makes you wonder why we and others bother getting things from there? Cheap consumer tat is fine but if you want something precise and accurate steer well clear.
