4th Round Draw - Who d'ya fancy? (should we make it)

Surprised, I though Roost would revert to Blues only:

4th Round Draw - Who d'ya fancy? (should we make it)

People getting in a tiz over nothing. They'll be enough tickets for both clubs. Blues fans are suggesting it was agreed that they get Kop Stand and Tilton, we have away stand and main stand if needed. Makes sense.

4th Round Draw - Who d'ya fancy? (should we make it)

Possibly, but we've had up to 6K for league games. I think the novelty of playing at home against Birmingham in their home might bring a few out. Besides, when we played them in the FA Cup a few years back, I recall there were only 7-8K Blues fans in the ground, so I doubt they'd pack the place...

4th Round Draw - Who d'ya fancy? (should we make it)

But that's 5K. We'd potentially take somewhat more than that so why limit the number of our own supporters at what would technically be a home game?Probably make sense to give us the main stand also.

Andy Street looking forward to seeing Coventry "Sky Blue"

What's the issue here? Think I'm missing something. The idea is to celebrate the city's history and association with the colour blue, from 'Coventry Blue' to Sky Blue, and the official 2021 video features the football club heavily. What was the issue withe original tweet?

Match Thread Match thread - F a cup 3rd round - Bristol Rovers

If they choose a game between two 3rd division teams in an empty stadium they must be desperate!

There's no money in the replay. The gate will be around 2.5K and prices will be reduced, and we only get around 40% of the gate money, it won't be much more than break even.

    SBT Veggie Society

Tried a Greggs vegan slice today, was decent enough, textured gravy is the best way I can describe it, so pretty much like a normal steak slice. I've tried going veggie a number of times to support my daughter and for ethical reasons, but I'm just weak I guess. Have settled now for just eating...

    Iran & USA

The US record when it comes to Iranian affairs isn't one they can be proud of. The role it, through Jimmy Carter and his deluded advisers, played in the revolution and overthrow of The Shah is a case in point. These were people who regarded Ayatollah Khomeini as 'moderate and progressive'. That...

    Iran & USA

Come now. Childish? Take a moment to read what you just said, hardly a reasoned, thoughtful take on the issue. The significance of this is not lost. This was not like assassinating the head of a terrorist organisation, this was somebody at the heart of government in Iran. It was a very risky...

    Iran & USA

Fair enough, but equally I don't recall them being labelled raving lunatics when they ordered the assasination of islamist targets in the past. You can call Trump a lot of things, not many of them nice, but war-monger isn't one of them. It was a reaction that many leading Democrats were calling...

    Iran & USA

Iran has been attacking and seizing oil tankers, it has taken down drones, attacked Saudi oil plants, launched rocket attacks on US forces, and organised the storming of the US embassy. The US retaliated. Surprised? Soleimani was a monster behind the murder and rape of thousands, and most in...

    No planned incoming activity

O'Hare Just wanted to type that to see if it auto-corrected to O'Hara, it's the only explanation I can think of for the repeated misspelling of his name. It didn't though, so perhaps my Huawei is just smarter than the average bear.

    Mark Robins

And, we do/we don't, what's the point? Robins has had money to spend, we spent 800K the season before on Chaplin and Baka. But, he's also had to sell key players. He's doing a great job. Overachieving? Maybe if you're going to judge it solely on budget, but based on the squad we have? Possibly...

    Mark Robins

It was Darragh MacAnthony. Barry Fry? This isn't the 90s. He revealed it, and it was reported in the local Peterborough press. Also listed on transfermarkt.co.uk and they don't show fees unless it is confirmed. You seem almost annoyed by the size of the fee?

The owner of the club tweeted it out ffs. Are you OK?

    Mark Robins

It's kind of irrelevant, the point was about wages really, because we know money spent of transfers will be negative. Godden was meant to be undisclosed, but the Peterborough chairman let it slip. It was 734K iirc.

    Mark Robins

We have players on decent wages this season, and we've paid some quite hefty transfer fees in the past couple of years. Yes, they have been financed through player sales, so the net spend is negative, but if you're brining in the likes of Godden for 750K and players as highly rated as Allen, you...

    From the other side

It was quite flat yesterday, as it was at Wycombe. Not sure the drum has anything to do with it though. There was one at Peterborough and I'd say that was the loudest we've been all season, although I have missed a couple of away games.
