    Championship salary cap next season?

Not a fan. Although I want to see a fairer league I also don't think it's fair a team that is drawing in more fans and revenue not being allowed to use that to their advantage. Hence why I prefer the % of income that is currently used and I think capping squad numbers rather than squad wages...

    George Floyd

I've no doubt that there are individuals within groups that are seen as oppressed in someway, such as black, women, gay, trans etc, that take that view and use it as an excuse for anything they do when in fact the fault is theirs. Unfortunately that takes away from the prejudice against the...

I get that but I also think those that haven't lived through the Troubles fully appreciate the potential a united Ireland has in reigniting them. It'd bring the absolute nutjobs out of the woodwork. I'm not saying it won't happen but I very much doubt it'd be a peaceful process.

Still got 48 seats last time and went up after a fall in 2017. Nothing from the govt since will have done anything to quieten that down.

Not sure MR would change formations other than due to necessity because if he wants to try something else out he'd want his first choice players trying it rather than the reserves/mixed. Will be more about fitness so I think he'll mi up experience and youth both halves. So I'd say Marosi Pask...

Certainly much less than in Scotland. But the handling of coronavirus and the fact the Tories are likely to be in power for ages would swing it in a 'can't be any worse can it?' way. NI - really don't want that to gain momentum purely for the fact it'd kick everything off again. In NI those...

But I reckon the goalposts have moved significantly. After the last indy ref when all these promises were made to them to stay and the second they did it turned into a "what does this mean for England" it caused a massive upsurge in interest. 2010GE only had 6 SNP, 2015GE 56SNP. Part of that...

Started reading that and thought you were admitting to being Marcus Hall! Would be worse if you'd done it while he was taking a piss himself though. And absolutely terrible if he'd waved back with the wrong hand....

But it has also been shown that the treatment of white and black youths in similar situations are often very different. White kids are more likely to be let off with a slap on the wrist for things like minor drug offences etc. Black kids aren't and are far more likely to face prosecution and be...

But you then also have to take factors into account. For example let's say a second 9/11 happened and thousands of people are killed in the attack, yet it was the only Islamic terror attack that year yet there were hundreds of lone gunman attacks by Christian fundamentalists that only killed a...

    Wigan down, Forest blow it....

Swansea to win p-o. Must be buzzing to have sneaked in. Brentford could well suffer knowing it was in their own hands with two winnable games to go and lost both.

Forum Statement on New Stadium Announcement

I'm just pointing out the realism of the situation. There will be people who aren't that bothered about watching us, but want to watch Chelsea. Just as people will be more interested in seeing a winning team than one that isn't. Not saying it's right, just the way it is.

Well it is. Clubs that win more often and can do so regularly over a half decent time period get higher attendances. If you're playing a big club with big name players more people will want to go and see it. When we've had small runs of good results in the past after a few games the crowd...

One thing I had a thought over this. Is there a correlation between people who've had their tonsils removed and how seriously they get infected? They are after all there as a kind of early defence mechanism.

Makes sense really. A strain that can be caught more easily will inevitably end up infecting more people than another less contagious one. Plus if it's less deadly a single person will be able to move around more and survive longer, thus spreading it for a longer period and in more places.

New Stadium - The pessimist's view...

In a way, but the tiers would make the difference. With the bowl you have to shut off whole sections front to back and so you end up with bits by the pitch that are uninhabited. With a tier you can bring everyone closer to and surrounding the pitch and the upper section being empty doesn't have...
