Is it not quite obvious given the lack of pace? In the championship we could probably get away with it more. Perhaps not against a player with the power, and pace of Troare
Nope, believe it changed to 3 years in 2016/17 unless it changed back? It's changed multiple times admittedly.
Just checked, it is still 3 years, but only 2 if you only stay up for 2 seasons now.
I have to agree about Swansea and Reading. Swansea had a good coach who got the best out of his team. But they have now lost the last of their parachute payments and the quality players that went with it.
Reading looked bang average against us and seemed to fluke it all season when I saw them...
It all depends on the availability though? There is no point in going out and signing a defender on a 3 year deal if they aren't the right person to move the club forward.
Also I'd imagine in a year the expectation would be that Reid would be at least back up. For all we know he might...
Yep Robins mentioned this recently. The illness has put him behind in his recovery from injury in regards to his fitness, but he is now back in training.
Robins said in his interview with Boyle sports that the 7-10 day time frame had been delayed out of his control but basically hinted they are all done and dusted. It's just a matter of when not if.
If you are under 21 you don't need to be registered to play. Squad numbers also have no bearing on squad registration they can be two separate things. So even mason, jobello and hilsner could be registered without having been given a squad number.
