That wouldn't happen. Players still have a value assigned to them in an exchange deal. We would then get the % of the overall value of the deal, not just the cash portion. And it can even be beneficial for clubs to overvalue their players in such a deal (see the Barca - Juve Arthur/Pjanic...

I prefer Wright on the left vs centrally. He's much better receiving the ball facing goal, rather than away from it. He's also quite good at getting to the byline and standing one up. Simms is certainly better at playing with his back to goal, using his body and bringing others into play.

It's easy to see why Dasilva was signed, he's much better technically, close control, short passing etc. He just isn't a full back though and gets dominated physically, both aerially and in a foot race. I think he could only be useful there if we became a side that averaged 65%+ possession and...

I put a lot of that down to personnel though. Milan isn't a winger, Lati isn't a full back and Kelly is pedestrian. You would hope next year Kelly is gone, Milan is back at RB and Lati sees less minutes as a squad player.
