    Allen injury

Probably a bit easier, but it would depend if they were still going to draw such narrow lines. If so, you'd still have that millimetre judgement as to whether there is 'clear space' or not. I think the lines should be wider / fuzzier, and in the case of overlap, give the attacker the benefit of...

    Allen injury

You either go with the officials' judgements by eye, or you use technology. The point I was making is that if you change the offside rule to 'clear space' between defender and attacker (as opposed to part of the attacker being ahead of the defender) you don't make it any easier to judge. You've...

    Allen injury

You would need lines to determine whether there was clear space though.

The ball has long gone, and it has to be deliberate.

Match Thread Coventry City - Sheffield Wednesday [FA] Match Thread - Tuesday 6th Feb

I'm talking about how long it seems to take each person to be cleared through the turnstiles. It doesn't matter what time it is, or whether there are 5 or 500 people in the queue.

How does an accident on the M69 affect how long it takes each person to get through the turnstiles? For whatever reason, the throughput is ridiculously slow 🐌 It was quicker 50 years ago when people were paying cash.

Sorry, it was a flippant remark based on the unfortunate way you phrased it. Hope Allen is OK, but as per my previous post I fear it's a significant injury because they didn't wait for hospital results before saying it was fractured.

If they already know he's fractured it before he's even had it scanned, it's presumably quite bad. Hope it's 'hairline', but very much doubt it :(

I've loved Haji from day one, but his apparent lack of offside awareness is strange. For the first goal he drifts miles offside and stays there. One of these days it'll lead to an otherwise perfectly good goal being chalked off. (tbf Saka goes well offside too for that one, unless I'm missing a...

Anyone on here collect old match day programmes?

Apparently not, even the one with a 'Full colour centre spread of Bobby Parker'!

Wright's effort reminded me of the one Harry Kane failed to score in the World Cup SF a few years ago. Not that I've ever brought myself to watch it again. Slight difference in the stakes mind you.

Haas F1 boss Ayao Komatsu explains Coventry City love affair, Mark Robins wish and Tatsu Sakamoto fear

It's quite an interesting and engaging interview. Noel Whelan was not a naughty boy, he was the Messiah.

Lati's a fine utility player, but I'm not sure he can be backup for himself.

Yes, that's how it makes me feel too (3 at the back).

Kelly is still an option, and was great at the end of last season. But what we really need is a Sheaf clone. Could the Sports Science guys quickly come up with Dolly the Sheaf?

But it's very early days for him, and I bet the 'safety first' option of Lati will be uppermost in their minds if it's 4-2-3-1. Or try again to make 3 at the back work, maybe with some tweaks.
