If the worst comes to comes worst

This. Never understood these weirdos who are 'fans of the game'. What sort of wishy-washy nonsense is that? There will always be a CCFC, whether it is the original or a reincarnated version, so pointless discussion imo.

    Venue for Fridays game

I'm not sure how your comment was relevant to what I said, I was pointing out the fallacy of the argument that said SISU should be locked out because this was 'certain' to make them back down (and pay up). I don't believe that for one minute, do you?

Why have BBC CWR sided with SISU?

You must have missed all that stuff about the BBC fearing that they might lose broadcast rights if they are too critical of SISU, or the claims that they were deliberately refusing to read out texts that were critical of SISU. It's all there, you just need to pay a little more attention.:) Oh...

Why have BBC CWR sided with SISU?

I think it is a measure of just how desperate the SISU OUT fanatics have become that they are now trying the suggest there is some sort of BBC conspiracy where clearly there isn't one; to the extent that they are citing the fact their text was not read out of the radio as evidence. What next...

Why have BBC CWR sided with SISU?

They'll be plenty who'll say he is being balanced - it depends on your viewpoint. Put is this way, if he was being blatantly anti-SISU, how many of you would be starting threads on here about his lack of balance and complaining that he wasn't giving SISU a fair hearing? None of you would do...

Why have BBC CWR sided with SISU?

It's only 'disgraceful' because you disagree with it. No doubt if he was rabidly anit-SISU you wouldn't be complaining about him being in breach of the BBC code of conduct, you'd probably declare him to be fair and balanced. Some people just can't stand the thought that there are people out...

    Venue for Fridays game

What rubbish. Firstly, who on earth are ACL to petition the FA? Why would the FA deal with them at all? Secondly, it is not 'clear' that locking the doors would force SISU to back down, what on earth gives you that idea? If it was so 'clear' then why don't ACL do it? They don't, because...

Are the fans partially to blame??

Exactly, if you were going the start including satellite towns not part of the greater urban area you would have to add 600K to Leicester's urban conurbation population, because the population of Leicestershire is 1 million. Whether you look at City population, urban area, local authority...

    Over 1000 fans at Portsmouth

Agree with above, worst atmosphere at a city away game for a good while. Very subdued.

What happenes to the Season Ticket holders?

Knowing my 3 year old, she'd enjoy the bus ride more than the game! I still reckon Friday's game will be at the Ricoh, but just a hunch.

    Portsmouth Match thread

It's not the snow you have to worry about, it's the rain, they've had a lot of it and have cancelled their academy game. Should be on, but not a guarantee. On the 8.30 bus also, will probably be almost there if it is called off!

    Football League - Liquidation

It's funny how those that seek to demonise SISU at every turn will constantly refer to events that happened years ago to support their case. What they don't bring up so often (strange this) is how the council INSISTED that the club ONLY deal with SISU when there were other interested bidders at...

    Football League - Liquidation

Indeed. A lot of people got caught up in the idea that a new stadium would be a fresh start, would increase gates etc and there was a desire to make it happen. Have to confess, I was in favour of moving back then. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

    CWR Phone In

Love cricket, but never over football.

    Official coaches tomorrow

Creditors you mean? We've been led to believe there are no creditors other than ACL and the owners themselves.

    Football League - Liquidation

According to Robinson today, there was another option, and they had a back up plan to buy back Highfield Road. The council saved the stadium project, but they didn't 'save the club' in the way people credit them for.

    Official coaches tomorrow

No doubt. No way ACL would do that to ordinary supporters. Wouldn't be good PR if they did.

    Announcement due soon?

More SISU lies? I want my 7 minutes back!

    Announcement due soon?

Will agree on that. Would much prefer to hear Fisher challenged on the radio.

    Announcement due soon?

Does it really? The only people who really care about this sort of thing are the likes of me and you, and we're all here talking about it. Mainstream media are redundant in this process and have been one step behind the whole way, and all of the major revelations have come via this forum and...
