    Fans fighting outside sixfields

To be fair, people on the hill have behaved impeccably until this point. They have acted with dignity, and while I don't necessarily agree with their position, they make their point in the right way. From what I saw on the way out, the group had been hijacked by some right dickheads.

    Fans fighting outside sixfields

Not surprised. A group of people yelling 'scabs' as people left the ground. Could sense it might happen. I cannot be arsed anymore with all this shit.

    A spade's a spade

Perhaps, but then I have tried to refrain from drawing too many conclusions from the JS interview; and it never ceases to amaze me how much reading between the lines has gone on during the last few days. Some are convinced they know the motivations and the meaning behind JS's answers, and still...

    A spade's a spade

People will pick out the bits that best suit their viewpoint. It's a bit like like dullards who think the moon landings were faked. They cherry pick little inconsistencies and then put them all together thinking it makes a coherent argument. It doesn't.

    New ground

It's at this point people stick their fingers in their ears and shout LALALALALALA at the top of their voice. That, and call you names and pretend they are all experts on this country's planning laws.

I have just sent this to Joy Seppala

You have all lost your minds. This thread is a new low. For fans of other clubs reading this, please do not take this as a fair representation of our fanbase. The paranoid delusions are not universal.

    A spade's a spade

That's no way to treat those people driving all that way to stand on the hill.

    A spade's a spade

Ah, so you are. Cool. Seems like a lot of effort to go to though to make that point, given that my response was tongue-in-cheek. FWIW, I have now read the OP in full and have decided not to withdraw the like. It was definitely warranted.

    Brentford Match Thread

You're probably right, it wouldn't be a disaster, but after last week and with some tricky games coming up (particularly away) we would definitely lose some confidence and momentum. Still, I'm cautiously optimistic about today.

    Brentford Match Thread

Aye, looking forward to the game finally after last week's disappointment. The feeling at the last two homes games is that we are due to give somebody a spanking soon. Don't think it will be today, but who knows. A win is important though, anything less and our season starts to derail.

    A spade's a spade

Perhaps it is my fuzzy head, but I genuinely don't know if you are winding me up!

    A spade's a spade

I'm quite happy to take credit for all of it.

    A spade's a spade

Exactly. There wasn't even the merest hint that she is prepared to concede anything, if anything it was an attempt to completely close the door on the possibility of a new rent deal, which makes all those claims that it was evidence that NOPM is working all the more strange.

    Not full time, no.

    New Ground Nonsense

There is no precedent for a police force refusing to police a football game that I recall (at least not outside the ground, but clubs are not obliged to have police inside the ground anyway, and if they do they pay for it). It just wouldn't happen.

    Best Away Atmosphere

That was going to be my nomination, but it wasn't the same year we won at Spurs to stay up. We played Leeds at home the last day of that season - a 0-0 draw iirc (the game where there was a big punch up on the pitch).

    A spade's a spade

To early on a Sunday read any of that, but I liked it anyway on the basis it probably made sense (going by previous form) :D

    New Ground Nonsense

In an ideal world, the Ricoh would adapt and diversify and become a successful conference/exhibition facility and the club would team up with CRFC and develop The Butts. I'd be very happy with that, but the issue is the here and now, because it just isn't suitable. TF was asked at a fans forum...

    New Ground Nonsense

And I cannot believe your rubbish response. Nowhere did he make the case for that site - he simply said he has heard from a source he trusts that it is their number 1 target. As for Warwick Uni, while I think it is preferable to the likes of Ryton or Ansty Park, it would indeed be fraught...

    Key Quotes from Reid/Seppala

Astute has been on it all night evidently. I've just joined him in the hope he starts making sense. But yes, probably time to call it a night.
