    Les Reid= FAIL

No, not at all. I would quite like to hear the answer myself.

    Pretty Confirmed Now

No they didn't, they were referring to a revised rental agreement and that 'handshake'. The HOT referred to by JS and TF previously is the one relating to the purchase of the 50% stake in ACL at the end of last year - and I have argued with people on here about that endlessly.

    Pretty Confirmed Now

It's funny how the same people who for so long denied that there was any such HOT (signed) agreement, are now conceding there was, but true to form, are now trying to invent reasons why the council were right to pull out at the last minute.

But ultimately it is about the viability of the football club. If, under such an arrangement, the club was sustainable and self-financing, I'm not sure why it matters all that much what the internal company structure is because the club and stadium company would be under single ownership.

How can anyone realistically prove that it won't happen? Just as you cannot prove that it will.

We'll Come Back To The Ricoh...

No, that was an agreement bewteen SISU and ACL which both sides signed up to, it was sensible, and it concerned part ownership of ACL, and not the Ricoh. Ownership of the freehold is clearly worth a lot more. Will they offer below market value? Almost certainly, but it doesn't mean it will be...

We'll Come Back To The Ricoh...

Does that mean Grimsby and Manchester United should change their names then? Just over the boundary but in the Coventry conurbation is fine by me - I'm not so anal that I get all precious about an imaginary line drawn by a civil servant. Boundaries change anyway. Start putting miles of...

We'll Come Back To The Ricoh...

Given all that has happened, I'd be surprised if she hasn't had death threats. Still, that's just a distraction. I agree with OSB, the only viable way forward (for them) is to get on and build the stadium. So do it then, although I don't agree it need be all that far outside the city...

    Fans slowly turning away ..

Ouch, £39 a game? You do wonder how they can be so much in debt with the crowds they get and the prices they charge.

Speak for yourself. Here in up-market Whitmore Park some of us even have jobs, and we actually own two Nigella cook books. My house is like a middle class theme park.

    Fans slowly turning away ..

Given that SISU threw their toys out of the cot because their attempts to buy 50% of the management company were scuppered at the eleventh hour, how does that tally with the 'land grab' statement? They were, evidently, more than happy for the council to retain ownership of the freehold (at that...

I talked to B.C.F.A re. phoenix club.

This must be a candidate for the random thread-bump hall of fame. Good work.

I want to hear more from King of the Lesbians. Les Reid has interviewed the wrong person. Unless?

Is SISU preparing to sell Otium ?

Are we actually discussing this? There is more chance of the Irish building a moon base.

Les Reid Exclusive INterview with Seppalla....

Yup, all the more reason why we should all be pleased that she has broken her silence. But like I say, some of the natives aren't happy. I might order in some popcorn.

Les Reid Exclusive INterview with Seppalla....

I get the feeling some people are very angry about this news. They don't want to hear JS speak, they would rather she remained a distant and mysterious pantomime villain - a faceless hate figure. The moment she comes out of the shadows, speaks or (heaven forbid) is photographed, it becomes...

I am not comparing our situation directly with those examples (in respect of how we have got to this point), I was merely saying that the exile didn't result in the lost generation people are already saying has happened here after a few weeks. Brighton played in from of similar gates at...

    The PR game

What proof? What do you want me to do exactly? I am merely repeating what has been claimed by one side in the dispute, citing the complete lack of a denial by the other side (who have never been slow to issue denials) as evidence that (on this specific issue at least), TF is probably telling...

    The PR game

Why have you quoted my response here, which was specifically about the 340 days a year when the football club effectively don't exist. But if you want to talk about all those lost matchday revenues too, go ahead (but I'll allow you to deduct 50% for parking and a bit of F&B money too if you...
