MK Dons (H) - Match Thread

Win is a win , lets remember MK Dons are well in the running for promotion and we are well in the running for relegation and it's 3 points.

Coventry City rumoured to be in for Brentford striker Nick Proschwitz

You are not going to get the answer on that, mention players are thrust upon the manager by Steve Waggot and you get shot down. Lets be honest if Pressley puts his player recruitment record on his managerial CV in the future he'll have a job to get an under fifteen manager job.

How will Clive Eakin perform on CWR tonight ?

The guy wiittering on about poor old SP having a young family and is now out of work, he has probably about a quarter of a million quid extra in his bank today than he had at the weekend, try explaining that hardship to someone just ditched out of the blue by City Link with hardly any...

Coventry City rumoured to be in for Brentford striker Nick Proschwitz

Yes but here from a kid, maybe even born here, he went to Bishop Ulathorne school. Frank Kletzanbaur was born and bred in dear old Beduff I believe.

Coventry City rumoured to be in for Brentford striker Nick Proschwitz

Wilf Smith was a good player eventually, he unfortunately badly injured his ankle on his debut at Derby. When he came back Mick Coop had established himself at right back so couldn't really get back in. He actually got into midfield and I rated him there but he did keep getting injured, can't...

    Sturridge

Funny how Daniel Sturridge is often portrayed on here as an ex lost to become a superstar. He was only about 13/14 when he left our academy for Manchester City's obviously guided by his old man, think we got a few bob out of it though due to some release claus.

Strengths and weaknesses of who we guess

Mowbray, Rossler, Adkins, Jones all decent shouts to be honest, experienced, have a measure of success and in this division, well I think Mowbray has, but if any of them are serious options for Waggot then there has to be a massive change of policy from the sisu puppets Waggot and Fisher, can't...

    So who do we want?

Have I missed something, why is Warburton a free agent at the end of the season, don't know a lot about him but he's done okay at Brentford.

    So who do we want?

I bet Mrs Waggot has made a fortune betting on the successful candidate, she's on her fourth go now !

    Waggot Telegraph Article

Not saying it isn't but Mark Robins is sometimes portrayed on here as a bit special, he was doing okay nothing more and was similar at Huddersfield. The trouble here we have been in the doldrums that long any new manager who wins three on the bounce is hailed the new Messiah, then we come down...

Robins was the right choice you say ? Didn't last too long at Huddersfield did he ?

    Jamie Jones Goes To...

Lee Burge is 22 ffs! no kid. He should grasp this chance to nail down a first team spot. Les Sealey did it as a nineteen year old and whilst we were in the final matches of another relegation battle from the top flight. Either give him a proper chance or ditch him.

    John Hartson

Those going on about we shouldn't try unprovern managers should remember we are near bottom of division three a little lower when the unprovern Jimmy Hill was appointed ! It is at this level new to management personel start their careers.

    Waggot Telegraph Article

In his quest to find Pressley's replacement this goon Waggot article mentions I, I've and me, , loads of times too many to count, not us or we !. "I need a winner" "I'll eventually have a short list" " a win buys ME time" I'll try to speak to the stongest ones first and tick the others on...

    Sillett Telegraph Article

Wouldn't disagree with that but in fairness to him he had the trauma a dying wife to contend with, player manager/ manager was far too much for anyone under those circumstances. The club should have sorted it way before they did imo.

    Sillett Telegraph Article

Sillett mentioned that with Oggy doing the keepers and Greg Downes the commercial side ?
