    I was there when.....

I was there when Dion hid behind Shay Given before sneaking back on to score.

Better with Shipley at LWB and Maatsen further forward if you're playing them both imo.

Matty godden championship record at coventry

Since the 83/84 season (when I started supporting the club) only 5 players have scored more league goals for the club - Dublin, McSheffrey, Regis, Gibson and Ndlovu. Godden now level with Micky Gynn on 32.

Hopefully the club have run out of testing kits and we can just crack on. 👍

    Coeliac friendly fish and chips?

Yeah had breakfast at Playwrights and then fish and chips after the game. Both were excellent.

What are the COVID rules for players now, I lose track?

When do players arrive for home games?

For anyone interested the players arrive between 12:45 and 1:15. My girls had photos with the entire squad and had their shirts signed. Absolutely made their days. All the players were great, and all made time to pose for photos with any supporter that asked.

    Coeliac friendly fish and chips?

Both Playwrights and Beech Tree were fantastic, I highly recommend to any coeliacs (or non-coeliacs for that matter) and both will now be part of our matchday routine each time we travel up to a match. Cheers all.

    Coeliac friendly fish and chips?

Just found the new Playwrights. Looks perfect, nice one that's breakfast sorted. Cheers

    My boys first City match

Took mine to their first games when they were 5/7. Spent most of the match going backwards and forwards to the toilets, and the rest of it listening to them asking how long was left and was it nearly time to go to Pizza Hut. Plus they were both mascots that day in a game we won 4-1 to go top...

Ah ok, I'll look into that. I was always impressed with the food in there.

    Coeliac friendly fish and chips?

Cheers both. I find the coeliac sanctuary hit and miss so tend to ignore. For example, isn't Playwrights now closed? It was boarded up when I walked past a few months back. Beech Tree sounds promising, I'll give them a call.

    Coeliac friendly fish and chips?

Hi all, I'm bringing my youngest to the match on Saturday. She and I are both coeliac. Are there any coeliac safe fish and chip shops in Cov? Google searches have been a bit hit and miss. We don't live in Cov so any local knowledge greatly received, cheers.

When do players arrive for home games?

Yeah I saw that a while back. But then I also see players posing with fans for selfies on my Twitter feed every week so presumably its all good.

When do players arrive for home games?

Bringing my daughters to a rare game on Saturday and both are desperate to try and grab a photo with O'Hare. Does anybody know what time the players arrive at the stadium for home matches? Cheers

O'Hare is a Burden on the Team

He's on 12 (13 including the FAC goal). To put that in context, the top league goal scorer in any Championship (or equivalent) season since our PL relegation is 15 (McSheffrey in 05/06). the only other occasion that anybody went past 12 was Lee Hughes in 01/02 (14 goals). It's highly likely...

It was similar odds v Bristol City. My eyes lit up and backed them, and on the balance of play we probably should have lost. Obviously delighted to lose my stake though.

Bit of fun on a Sunday night!

    76. Quite pleased with that. Some of them didn't play for us, PL or otherwise, which threw me. Peter Shilton for example. And I thought Nuzzo only played in the League Cup debacle at Tranmere.

    Preston attendance

Seems unlikely there will be less home fans then there were for Barnsley. Wouldn't that mean less home fans than we had for Barnsley? Seems unlikely after Tuesday.

Further evidenced by Bournemouth having 600k Twitter followers despite having one of the smallest fanbases in the Championship.
