    ACL and the disturbing truth

Ah, I had to learn about it in a previous life, not as a launderer btw, but on the other side of the fence. Actually, some might say banking is on the same side of the fence! I'm not bad on PPI regs either. Here's some free advice. Don't use claims firms! You just know our next shirt...

Bell already injured in training for Notts County.

Always seems a bit harsh to me, this. I'm sure he didn't want to get injured or spend so much time injured for us, and I'm sure that like every other footballer at every level all he really wants to do is play. I'm well over forty and crap, and always have been, but all I want to do is play! I...

    ACL and the disturbing truth

I can't imagine that SISU do anything illegal, but fwiw I'll tell you who really likes multi-layered, opaque company structures, based outside conventional banking regulation, and with no obvious beneficial owner. Money launderers. Generally speaking they also don't worry too much about...

    ACL and the disturbing truth

Now this actually did make me laugh out loud. My thanks.

Why is this Byng fella getting airtime, he is a twonk.

What I don't understand about Byng, if that if he's serious about doing a deal with ACL and SISU why would he come on the radio and lay into ACL after the fact. From a business point of view, it's bananas. I might think SISU are a bunch of ars*holes (as indeed I do), but I wouldn't go on the...

    ACL and the disturbing truth

I like the words 'sentence' and 'Fisher' in the same sentence, especially if it also contains something like 'guilty' and ends with the phrase 'take him down'. In fairness you know, outside of this he could be the nicest bloke in the world, is kind to his kids, gives generously to charity etc...

    ACL and the disturbing truth

Fair enough - I must confess that wasn't the way I heard it. Maybe I was grinding my teeth too hard and it affected my hearing. ;) To be clear, even now I'd be delighted if they could thrash out a deal - but I just don't think it's part of the SISU strategy. Happy to be proved wrong.

    ACL and the disturbing truth

I'm not being sarcastic here, but did you listen to the interview? Linnell seemed to come at it from about six different directions, until finally he got something along the lines of "if Martin Reeves called you would you talk to him?". Even then it seemed like the most grudging of responses...

    ACL and the disturbing truth

I hope so too - but if you were listening I think it's fairly obvious that that statement had to be pulled out of him like a four-foot wisdom tooth. I can't see that TF will ever deal honestly with ACL, though obviously he doesn't want to show that to the public.

    ACL and the disturbing truth

OK, let's get this straight. In your opinion, ACL offered the rent deal to CCFC Ltd. A rent deal that would have meant that CCFC Ltd could have traded financially in a far more robust way than the move to Northampton will allow them to. And yet the administrator, who at one point stated he...

    HMRC Involved

In fairness, I thought I'd check on HMRC's policy, because I'd got it in my head that they almost always reject CVA's especially from football clubs. However that's not the case, they'll reject CVAs from footy clubs if there are preferred creditors like players because they don't like that...

    HMRC Involved

I think we must owe the taxman something for them to be involved. I guess that shouldn't be a surprise. Liquidations obviously come under much more scrutiny than CVAs, so it's possible they've seen something they didn't like in the affairs of the company and want a further investigation...

ACL - played hardball and lost!

Yawn. Actually, I feel sorry for you. You'd have me believe that you think ACL did this out of spite. But I can't believe that that's your honest opinion because it's so utterly implausible. So presumably the one bit of fun you get in life is to sit there winding people up. You're in for a...

ACL - played hardball and lost!

Maybe we can support the team better by not going to Northampton and forcing change in things that way. I could just as easily say that you're throwing in the towel by letting SISU win.

ACL - played hardball and lost!

Where have you seen any evidence for that? Everything that I've read says that Higgs were ready to do a deal, SISU walked away. In fact SISU have walked away from every deal - ACL haven't. That's how I can put the blame at SISU's door, rather than ACL or the Council.

ACL - played hardball and lost!

SISU could have bought their way into the income streams via the Higgs 50% at any point. But rather than that they whined about the rent. Then when they got what they said was a fair offer on the rent, it suddenly became about income streams. But oddly, they never even entered into serious...

ACL - played hardball and lost!

I have no idea what you're on about. Just repeating the same load of rubbish doesn't make it true, it just makes for more rubbish. What would you have done mate, seriously. Faced with SISU and their total unwillingness to negotiate in good faith, what would you have done?
  18. duffer

ACL - played hardball and lost!

Why? Because it still keeps us in with a chance, torchy. With the CVA signed, the deal is closed and there's nothing to stop SISU buggering off to Northampton forever. As things are there's going to be a challenge against the administrator's decision and/or the probablilty of further...

ACL - played hardball and lost!

It's never been about the rent. The rejection of the latest offer proves that. The rent strike was never about trying to find an acceptable rent, it was about distressing ACL. No negotiation with SISU was ever done by them in good faith. If you can't see that then you're probably too blind...

ACL seek £2.5million damages from NTFC

I think ACL are fighting to keep CCFC in Coventry, and I'm right behind them in this action. The greed here was from Cardoza, who clearly was more interested in making a few bob than anything else. I've got no axe to grind with NTFC fans, but trying to spin this as a rescue is bollocks...
