Breaking News - Judge kicks out SISU's judicial review against CCC / ACL

I like the 'associated companies' theory - I like it lots. Not saying it would work mind, but there is what seems to me the odd idea that Holdings can assert beneficial ownership of everything in Ltd without any contingent liablilities. I'd like to see that explained too. And I enjoy the...

Breaking News - Judge kicks out SISU's judicial review against CCC / ACL

Yep - not saying that that won't happen, but the tricky thing is that CCFC Ltd is a separate entity in law. I don't know how you could extend the claim to the associated companies. Similarly, with the claims against the directors, I'm not sure you can do much more than flag it up to the...

Breaking News - Judge kicks out SISU's judicial review against CCC / ACL

Ooh, it's better than that. I'm not saying this has happened, mind, but if a company's directors are found guilty of fraudulent and/or wrongful trading, then they themselves can be held liable for the debts of the company. (Edit: This includes shadow directors, fwiw). This is something I think...

    OK Timmy, explain.....

Much as I hate to disagree with Torchy, ahem... ;) ... surely Fisher is far worse than Richardson. Richardson did indeed relegate us, and take us from a stadium we own into one that we rent. But Fisher has done the much the same, excepting that the stadium that we're now going to rent isn't...

Breaking News - Judge kicks out SISU's judicial review against CCC / ACL

I take your point, but I think they've done it Hugh. That was the point of the administration. It was always accepted that there was a debt, it was just that CCFC Ltd apparently didn't have enough money to pay it, having mysteriously run up debts of £60m and having (seemingly) no assets.

Breaking News - Judge kicks out SISU's judicial review against CCC / ACL

Mate, I know where you're coming from. No one hates SISU more than I do, but if there's a chance of getting the team back to Coventry and having an honest negotiation I'd urge everyone to go for it. SISU must know they're done now. They're not going to get the Ricoh for nowt. Getting the...

Breaking News - Judge kicks out SISU's judicial review against CCC / ACL

I think the chances of ACL getting the lost rent have gone with the Administration. FWIW, and just mho etc., I think rather than crowing this is where ACL should offer the olive branch. Come back home, take the £150k deal (which must mean ACL making a loss), and let's talk slowly and calmly...

Breaking News - Judge kicks out SISU's judicial review against CCC / ACL

So much for SISU being 'experts' when it comes to court cases then. Also, as others have mentioned, rather shows TSB wasn't quite the oracle he claimed to be.

    Breaking- club statement

Personally speaking, I'd just take Fisher at his word on this. If he'd truly welcome an investigation, then why wait? My biggest concern relates to how the assets in CCFC Ltd seem to have disappeared whilst the debts have increased. If Fisher genuinely wants to allay our fears on that, why...

    Block the roads

I'm not much in favour of blocking the roads for any kind of protest. Surely it just winds everybody up and people need to get to places for reasons other than football, sometimes quite urgently. Simply not buying a ticket at Northampton is a very strong message, and I can't help but think...

    Hoffman and elliott

In fairness I don't think this compromises any criminal case at all. What it does though is add to the body of evidence that something unusual seems to have gone on at CCFC Ltd. If that puts a bit more pressure on the FL and/or SISU and/or the Administrator, fantastic. With regard to a...

    Hoffman and elliott

Indeed - but looking at the accounts for Ltd they've been fairly consistent since 2008 (and before), and the last ones were signed in 2012 by TF. It would be odd, imho, if such a major transfer wasn't mentioned in the accounts. And TF (as I understand it) had a duty to mention when signing in...

    Hoffman and elliott

They're not surprised at the documents, they're surprised that neither the Administrator nor the FL seems to have paid any attention to a situation that they should have been aware of. At least that's the way I've read it.

Hoffman Surprised That FL Have Not Acted On Golden Share Documents

Not just the FL & FA - what was the administrator playing at? If Holdings really has 'beneficial ownership' over CCFC Ltd assets, how can they prove it? And if CCFC Ltd was trading in effect without assets or income, and just building up liabilities - then the directors (and the shadow...

    ACL Statement

I don't think it's third-party ownership - but it's even more evidence that she's a 'shadow director'. HMRC definition, below. http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/manuals/insmanual/ins44133.htm "It should be remembered that acting as a shadow director is not an offence in itself (unless the person is an...

here is the website theyre on about

As cloughie says. Everything football related was in CCFC Ltd in 2008. And the accounts for CCFC Ltd don't seem to have change much in that regard since that date, including the latest set signed off by TF. So where did the assets go since TF signed off those audited accounts? Who authorised...

Statement from ACL ? When ?

Come off it. SISU have drip fed the club for the last few years, and their only plan has been to break ACL for the last year. In that plan they've had utterly no regard for the fans. They've ripped the assets out of what was the club and manouvered in such a way that even if their someone...

    Ricoh / Compass etc

Actually, Compass are enormous, if ACL owned 72% of them they wouldn't have to worry about anything. A joint company (IEC?) was set up between Compass and ACL to handle F & B at the Ricoh. Compass wanted to buy in rather than just supply, presumably. ACL own 70%+ of that company. On that...

    ACL and the disturbing truth

Hi chief, in truth I don't think any investigation will go as far as the ultimate source of SISU's funds. And to be clear to any lawyers watching, I'm not for a moment suggesting that SISU are involved in laundering, I'm just pointing out the structures. As you say the investigation will focus...
