Is he, or are SISU taking us down by their lack of investment? We have a L1 budget at best, so what do you expect? I think Jose is busy, BTW...

Article: SISU Have To Go Before It's Too Late

Agreed, but I've paid for my ST-and so have the majority of our remaining fans. Having done so, I intend to keep turning up and backing the team. So that won't have impact until summer, by which time it will already be too late. Who am I kidding, it's already looking too late, gah.

    Thoughts on Barnsley

Don't make me do this again, chuckle..ok..:claping hands: It reminds me of the time the girl I was seeing dumped me on a night out. Later that night, I got off with another girl who I knew had fancied me for ages. "You were always my first choice", I lied to her. In other words..when...

    Senior Players

Leaders cost a lot of money. Our best leader imo was flogged-Turner. That said, even with him the side lacked leadership last season. McPake is a leader, but we all know the problems with him.

"Once you've made your mind up..." I heard anger and passion, a bloke who cares-but who doesn't want to hurt the already fragile confidence of his young team. You hear a man who has given up. We will never agree on him, lets face it!

    Thoughts on Barnsley

If he'd have had money when he needed it (which of course the board insisted he did), he'd have signed Le Fondre-or someone better, sooner. McDonald was what we were reduced to.

    Thoughts on Barnsley

Easier said than done. I'm sure Lambert did all he could to keep it quiet-and of course, we were in the "beggars can't be choosers" situation just now.

    Thoughts on Barnsley

Never mind lack of fitness due to no preseason, a little bird just told me that he may be in a similar mould to Freddy in regard to his approach to graft in training. "Natural fitness" would seem to be an issue, and Thorn is not happy.

Yes but there is only so much he can do. Any senior pro with experience would be down after the kicks in the teeth we've had this season regarding late lost points, let alone a bunch of kids. Look at Bigi's reaction after the Derby win-it is safe to say that as elated as he was at that win, he...

Anyone still think SISU are our answer?

Hang obn a minute..I thought they were making us pay our own way? Isn't that why there aren't any loan signings, and why we will never renew a decent players contract, and why we will sell every window?

You don't think morale, confidence and inexperience are a factor? Burnout because we've been forced to play 4-5 players nearly every game who at most should be playing 50-70%? Lack of decent competition(or ANY for some positions) for places? Seriously, all the AT-out brigade would make me cry...

My mate went today and he said the following:

Exactly stu-we're limited in what we can get, so at least show a bit of strategic acumen and sign them when we need them-not too late for them to be of immediate practical use. Again, it comes down to SISU's lack of football knowledge. I think it was more the little things like this and the lack...

    We are going down!!!!!

Cody is AT's mail-order bride; looked mint on the video, but turns out to be fat and not at all what you were hoping for or paid your money for. Man, I am getting misogynistic and sordid, aren't I? EDIT: unless he was like valiant, in which case it's exactly what he wanted in the girth...

WE NEED POINTS - Where Will they Come From ???

I'd say the form after Derby was perhaps a case of more immaturity-the players probably "believed their own hype" and thought they'd cracked it and everything was going to be ok now, after Derby. Just like many fans, and the manager perhaps? After a "fake high", Ipswich brought all and sundry...

    Current form

They just "snatched defeat from the jaws of victory yet again" according to R5 (1-3). Huh, sounds like us most weeks. Lose to them and we are truly in the brown stuff.

    Yesterdays goals.........

Hussey has earnt the right every bit as much as Christie, if not more. 3 fantastic assists at the end of last season for a start.

    Yesterdays goals.........

You missed my post last night, then! Agree with your point, but at least Christie gave it all he's got trying to get back. Terribly out of position, though. We do need to get of Husseys back-he was superb for a while, and has had a dip. He isn't the only one-that's inexperience and low...

    Where to play

Couldn't agree more with all you've said there. I don't want to have the Richardson debate again, though..we'll be blaming a lack of respect by youngsters in the 60's for the riots this summer next...
