    If takeover happens ?

Hard not to be cynical and say 1) It's just a rumour 2) "If" is a very big word, especially so in the context of the sentence "If SISU accept". More to the point, they've made it pretty clear that they won't even talk unless they make a profit, and I can't see that happening. "Balls of steel"...

    The miracle workers

Well put Bobby. I think a lot of people have forgotten how hamstrung we are. Regarding the players they've signed, my progress report is: Joe Murphy-6/10. Doesn't inspire that much confidence, I'm in the "not impressed" camp. He has made some good stops but as many have said, doesn't command...

Are We Simply Too Nice? Certainly No Crazy Gang!

I think I am pretty comfortable ground when I say AB's tactics were ineffective! End of last season proves that. Or would people welcome him back? In which case, I've woken up in the lunatic asylum again, haven't I...yet again I'm the only one who has these delerious visions where I remember...

    'Supporters'

Love 'em, keep 'em coming-I join in on my own in B21, usually get a few joining in if we're playing well and/or the goons have just confiscated some banners...

    1 win in...

Exactly. And I'd take AT over any name manager, as we all did last season. He has shown that he can get our side performing on the pitch;that's more than any other manager in the last 10 years bar Black. Short memories, some people. Even if we could afford a new Peter Reid, we'd only end up in a...

Losing points to the teams around us will be our downfall

Our best results based on the other teams league position are the Derby/Boro ones. Need to think a little bit more about why we got those points; both Derby and Middboro play an attractive passing style of football, which we found similar to our own and easier to contain than those who mix it up...

Time to Organise, Blackburn Style, Or Die

Ah but of course I'm hoping to cause as much damage and destruction as possible-not much point in calling in an air strike otherwise! If I wanted one that didn't do any damage, I'd use a SCUD. Or one of our strikers :p

Are We Simply Too Nice? Certainly No Crazy Gang!

Deegan can tackle but he's more of a passing midfielder than a ball-winner. The OP is essentially talking about a rough, direct, uncultured side (AB) and a passing, progressive, (in theory) cultured side (AT). Frankly, I can't believe you are even asking the question! Just to clarify, the AB...

If you mean the literal meaning of those two words, believe me, I have :o:D

All those in favour of calling in an air-strike on SISU HQ say "aye"...;)

    Did Hoffman overvalue the club?

How far can you throw SISU? You can't say, as you don't even know who they are! Do you feel any more trust for them, given that fact? And based on their performance-does that encourage, or deserve trust? I think I trust a true CCFC fan way above those shadowy capitalist gangsters, ta.

Dimi has played way above our level since leaving us! I'd have him back!

2 week break...put in the time coaching then!

Just love the way people run out of scapegoats, then decide to blame the Assistant Manager! Genius, that one is

    Did Hoffman overvalue the club?

If he wasn't serious, why did he bother? Any reason at all for him to go to all that effort?

    One SISU thread

Ir's a general principle, too; we have a new "Thorn Out" thread today when the other one was active only a few hours ago.

    1 win in...

100 % disagree with the OP. Not going to repeat what I said yesterday, it's pointless going over the same ground, other than to say it isn't AT's fault and AB had a better budget/squad. But we do already have a Thorn Out thread-why not just add your bitter vitriol to that?

Time to Organise, Blackburn Style, Or Die

Well they claim to have balls of steel..in which case, they won't mind being kicked hard in them a few times. Still cathartic to do it to them, mind.

Silence will (probably not) fall when The Question is asked

It's certainly crossed my mind...I suppose a L1 club is much cheaper to run. Obviously reduced gates and TV money, but maybe they've "done the math" and worked out that a youth team + McPake/Bell in L1 is cheaper than a Championship squad in the Championship.
