And of course possibly the greatest goal at HR. Ian Wallace's overhead kick!

    Friday night games

I hope so, however perhaps my antenna is more focused on Wasps? I will be the one at Port Vale and Carlisle wearing my new Wasps winter coat.

    Friday night games

I am home for a few weeks so I bow to your experiences. I have seen more Wasps jackets, caps, hats etc than I have Coventry City merchandise. I have shopped at the Arena shop twice and saw Wasps wearing shoppers at Tescos and in M&S and Next.

One of my favourite festive games

A 4-2 win at Luton, a 4-0 win against Liverpool, a 5-1 defeat at Leicester with Steve Lynex taking us apart. Still 4th in the table at Christmas.

    Friday night games

My neighbor is season ticket holder and he is saying most of the fans are local. anecdotal yes but not a guess. I am not guessing that 26000 and 22000 were the last two premiership gates at the Ricoh for Wasps and even if lots of them were free tickets it doesn't change the dynamic.

    Friday night games

So you are guessing? But the facts are clear. Wasps are killing us. The people of Coventry have bought in to Wasps. Sad but true.

    Friday night games

You are so wrong and it matters not a jot. We got 25% of their gate over the weekend. We wouldn't get 26000 if we gave the tickets away and even if Gloucester's support was very large it doesn't change a thing. Wasps need taking down but sticking your head in the sand is exactly what our owners...

    Friday night games

Wasps have not only taken a ground that was built for us but have captured the heart and soul of sports fans in the area. I was informed that most of the fans are from Coventry and local area and Wasps are now well and truly entrenched in Coventry. The question about success is valid but doesn't...

    Are we happy

It's a marathon so fairly happy with our position but my god it is never easy supporting Coventry City and the mood swings from Morecombe to Wycombe reflects the season so far.

No anticlimax here. Just get out of this horrible league and I would be delighted.

    Christmas message from Dave...

My neighbor has just returned from "a great afternoon at the Ricoh" How the fuck has this happened? 26,000 watching Wasps and barely 7000 watching Coventry City in Coventry. I despair, I wouldn't have thought it possible and those responsible should just fuck right off.

Match Thread Coventry City - Wycombe Wanderers Match Thread - Friday 22nd Dec

On reflection I must say that last nights game was enjoyable from start to finish. Biamou is out of his depth and those that believe he is worth persevering with should look at his contribution to the goals column and that says it all. I thought the back line stood up doggedly to the task and...
