I think you are missing my point …. Norwich were playing up one with a huge gap to their midfield. We didn’t need 3 centre halves to mark that one isolated striker for the last 20 mins when we were 1 down.

Spot on Shep re the press. The forwards simply carried out Robins instructions. I would have liked to see a defender sacrificed for another attacker for the last 15 but apart from that I think the tactics were offer effective.

I’m not suggesting we are Man Utd. I’m suggesting that if you want to get promoted you need to be brave enough to try to turn a draw into a win. Sometimes it will pay off sometimes it won’t but mathematically you only need to win 2 of the 6 matches to be no worse off.

So if we had been more ambitious and pushed for d second goal we might be third ?. We know being less ambitious and cautious led to us conceding and we are 13th.

If you don’t push on to get another goal and create at least a 2 goal advantage you leave yourself wide open to conceding one and having to settle for a point.

I’ve not heard the whispers but they all look good lads to me, low ego, sense of fun. You can’t replicate last seasons team spirit instantly but winning and the odd night out builds it quickly.
