Given Sisu declined various offers from Hoffman for the club I think it’s highly unlikely Sisu simply walked away and gifted it to King. They could have sold Vik, Hamer, Sheaf etc in the Jan then walked away if that had been their plan.

It doesn’t matter whether king paid £25m, £50m or simply wrote off money owed to him by SUSU from another transaction. So far he has tried to drive more ambition and higher standards into the club. He’s been open and accessible …. Not something many owners are and not something our previous...

O'Hare is a Burden on the Team

That’s not my point. He doesn’t want to be part of our future and isn’t good enough currently to start in the present.

O'Hare is a Burden on the Team

The issue is he’s not playing better than Tats but started ahead of him. Tats is part of our future COH part of our history. I have no issue with giving players minutes their current form doesn’t warrant if they are part of your future but if they are not it’s actually damaging your present.

If it had been career ending his insurance would have paid out. In any other walk of life if a company stands by an employee when they are unable to do their job for a year then it would be reasonable to expect that employee to show some gratitude and loyalty back. Thus he owes nothing...

We want to build the foundations of a team we own so that next summer we don’t have to have wholesales changes but a few additions to continue to improve us Ohare won’t be here next season. I wouldn’t start him, but I’d have him on the bench. His agent and him want to use us to pay him to get...

Slow to catch up … Godden has been anonymous for months. The end of last season and most of this. Still a good finisher but a passenger outside of that.

We have to plan for life without Ohare so he is a red herring. Ayari isn’t yet good enough so that rules him out too. Which leaves just Palmer as a central creative player and his injury track record shows he can’t be relied upon. At the moment Tats is the only player who genuinely creates...

    Nathaniel Adeji

I agree but only on the basis that we bought so many in the summer. The true criteria is of course do we look secure at the back ? Do we need strengthening ? On that basis you would say we do need another central defender.

Alan Nixon Coventry City have joined the chase for Hammarby’s Ghanaian centre half Nathaniel Adeiji. Mark Robins has funds for a signing and would like a buy which gives him the edge on rivals Preston. Adeiji will cost a hefty fee but Coventry hope to make an offer that gives his...
