    Neymar overrated

I thought I heard a 10 gun salute but it was just the sound of all the knees cracking. Neymar's a dick but let's not start making out he's some kind of fraud because Brazil weren't particularly good for one game.

    Best dad on telly

Homer routinely chokes his son and neglects both his daughters, the man's one of history's greatest monsters.

    People That Dislike Football

100% this. People can like or dislike anything, it's when they start making out that things they don't like have no merit they can fuck off.

ITV have got highlights of all three games tonight and the BBC doing it tomorrow, I guess they take it in turns each day.

World Cup - The Pub Or Home ?

Home, the only time I could watch football in a pub is as a background distraction I'd occasionally glance at.

    Godiva

Professor Green isn't really a huge one for a bad boy chav crowd, he makes documentaries about homelessness and writes about mental health and masculinity. It's a good booking for both as Godiva gets a current name, and he gets to play in front of a big crowd of people who may not otherwise get...

    Shipley Surprising a Young Fan

That's proper ace. Best part is this is the kind of thing that can happen when kids support their hometown club rather than one of the big names. I hope we see more of this

    Shipley Surprising a Young Fan

Did he or the club call ahead to arrange the surprise or did he literally just show up at the door? The connection between team and supporters seems to have become so much better in the past year, more of this

    Match Packages on Sale

It was just the single visit that I had to make in order to buy the package, after that doing the actual match ticket part was all online as normal, didn't need to keep going back or anything.

New Signing about to be announced - Jonson Clarke-Harris

Happy with this. I'm getting worryingly optimistic about next season.

    Match Packages on Sale

I use an NUS card to get the concession price so had to buy in person, although at no point did they actually ask to see it so they really just went on trust.

    Match Packages on Sale

I'm fairly certain they remain on sale until the point they no longer make sense when there's only a handful of games to go.

    The World Cup Thread

How does that kind of spread compare to this year? I know Russia covers a good few time zones but it looks fairly concentrated in the west and Kalinigrad so I can't get a sense of the scale.

U-21 manager Celades is taking over for the tournament instead by the looks of it. EDIT: Hierro and Celades together

    Match Packages on Sale

I went with the match package option last season for the first time so I'm doing it again this year, it's so much easier than the headache I was half expecting. The only minor convenience was having to go to the Butts on a weekday to buy it, but absolute breeze otherwise.

We should really get Scotland onboard for a joint hosting bid at 2030, if only so they can actually qualify for a tournament for once.

    Match Packages on Sale

Notice that the 12-match package is cheaper than it was for 17/18 which is a lovely surprise, there was no difference in £ per game last season between the 6 and 12
