Because more than one player can be unavailable at any time, plus it allows more scope to change how you play.

    Exeter fans after the match...

The bad old days refer to behaviour, not league position. 'Elements of the crowds' as a plural and when talking about something that happened at Exeter City surely makes it obvious.

Is this our biggest game since '87?

I'd probably say it's up there with the biggest games where the outcome is positive, rather than our more common goal of avoiding a negative.

    Football. A Fashion Thing.

At the Morecambe game last week there was a big fella in the heat who looked initially bare chested but was wearing a vest with a bronzed sixpack on it and over it a huge multicoloured hawaiian shirt with Spiderman on the back. He was at least 60, Block 17 really does have it all.

I liked it, but I had one glaring issue with the last episode

    Are you nervous

Starting to get nervous, I kind of wish the game was still a few days away.

2-year old killed in hit-and-run, McDonald Road

Fucking hell, and I thought the story couldn't possibly get worse.

I think with fewer superstar names comes less of a burden to shoehorn them all in or guarantee places regardless. Now Rooney's gone as arguably the last of that lot I prefer the look of the setup. Could all still go to shit of course, I mean it's England whatever they do.

    The World Cup Thread

I'm quite happy with the squad, a lot of the players cover a number of positions well like Walker as a centre back, Young, Delph, Dier and Alexander Arnold both being able to play in midfield and at the back. Lallana's the player I'd like to have seen in but you tend to get a player or two who...

    Big Sam sacked

I think it was always just to the end of the season by the sounds of it, he had the leverage to get a longer contract in order to get a lovely payoff but he can't have been expecting to still be there come August.

I'd happily take Wilshere, but I can see the issue over him as you can't be confident he won't suddenly rule himself out for weeks. I'd take Lallana too if he looks like he can be up to fitness by the time it all kicks off. Livermore though, not for me. I'd have Delph as he's more versatile.

    NBA2K18

I have it, but the loading times put me off so I've not touched it for ages. My favourite part is the career mode where you can play the game you're playing inside the game you're actually playing. INCEPTION

FA charge Davies over stamping claim

The ban for trodding on Duffy is fair enough. When you consider he also kicked Forte and we were handed a goal, we're still 2-1 up in the shit decision stakes.
