I think he lacks the pace needed as a 10 in the Premier league. He has stamina but not speed or indeed even a change of pace.

I’m not sure Robins rates him and as we know when he’s sceptical on someone he just plays someone he trusts out of position rather than go with the player he’s not sure about. If we go with Burroughs as understudy to MVE my worry is that in practice it will be Lati.

Robin’s said earlier in the season he planned to ensure EMC attended the odd match, met the players etc to ensure he hit the ground running in pre season. Does anyone know if this has happened ? Was he a guest at Wembley for example ?

Agreed. for me it’s about balance … a couple of quality loans makes a lot of sense, 3-4 average ones less so.

We are totally aligned on that Clint. To be honest I don’t mind loans, and I’d also like to see better prospects coming through the academy. The future for our club should be buying talent snd developing our own talent and the last part takes the longest when you have been the poor relation...

I can’t remember the last match Godden played well in. A sad way for a decent bloke to exit the club: great finisher but lacks the attributes needed to play top end championship football. Would be a great addition for an ambitious League 1 club.

I see no evidence that Binks has made a material contribution. People are arguing for loans to give us the X factor not fill up the squad ! Saying we need more loans is lazy and ignores the variety of other factors that also have contributed.
