Unfair to blame Doyle. Robins has fried to build a team a round accommodating Andreu and it is not working. He needs to back to 4-4-2, and quickly.

Would be a great signing. Played under Robins at Scunthorpe.

    Transfer Rumour Deadline Week

Willis would be a huge loss, we would miss his pace. Tom Davies getting suspended for the second leg of the League Two play off semi, allowing Willis back into the team, worked out very well for us.

No knee jerk reaction I'm afraid. I said we needed another striker before McNulty left. We played well in parts yesterday and did deserve to win, I'm just convinced that Biamou, JCH and Ponti are not going to cut it at this level.

    Transfer Rumour Deadline Week

We need one to replace Biamou and a decent back up. And we'll end up playing 4-4-2 by Christmas anyway.

We need two new strikers if we are to compete in this league.

Of course I haven't 'always had in' for Biamou and it's nothing personal. But as even Otis points out above Biamou is clearly not good enough at present to lead the line in League One. Are we forever as a fanbase just going to accept someone who 'puts it in' but clearly isn't up it? This is the...

OK you're right. He's f Being better than JCH and Ponticelli does not mean he's good enough to lead the line in League One

That's almost as bizarre as starting Biamou as a lone striker.

Yes agreed. It's utterly bizarre how Robins keeps picking him. He wasn't good enough in League Two, so on what basis will he be good enough in League One?

And I'm a bit worried Mark Robins could be amongst their number.

'Biamou worked hard and nearly made things happen a few time' Not good enough I'm afraid

Clive Eakin is a class act on CWR. The rest of them (Foster, Winch etc) are hopeless.

More convinced than ever after today's performance that we need two quality strikers in asap. Biamou and JCH are simply not good enough for League One I'm afraid. Some nice touches and a good goal from Andreu but I'm not convinced playing him in behind a single striker will work throughout the...

    Team v Scunthorpe

Agreed. Even before McNulty left I said we needed another striker. I'm not convinced that any of Biamou, JCH or Ponti will cut it at League One level. Robins persistence with Biamou in the first half of last season probably cost us automatic promotion and consistently, taking out the odd...

    Retained List

Agree with Grendel. Assuming McNulty stays, a proven target man to play alongside him next season is our number one priority. Just don't think Biamou or JCH are up to it.
