    JCH

JCH would have been involved in every game for the rest of the season if he’d stayed. Granted not so sure about Doyle though. Ogogo a strange one but for me never given a proper chance. And clearly no takers for Brown, A serious lack of senior players in the squad now. Prepare to be outmuscled...

    JCH

Robins looks like he’s been told to trim the wage bill. Meyler will be on decent money but Reading will be pay8ng most of that. We’re left with a squad of lightweight (and cheap) younger players.

    Chelsea interest in Callum Wilson

Not in the Bournemouth squad at Everton this afternoon.

    Strikers

No. He is clearly not a striker who wants to play on the shoulder of opposition defenders. Which makes his signing a very strange move by Robins given he needed to replace MCNulty.

    Today's performance

You omitted to mention we're playing in a higher division his season. It makes a big difference. Remember we only finished 7th in League Two last season.

    Strikers

Chaplin seems to want play in behind JCH. He doesn't want to run in behind defenders like McNulty did last season. Given we needed a replacement for McNulty I don't know why Robins bought him, I feel a bit sorry for him to be honest.

    Open Letter to Supporters

Clearly SISU would not 'go bust' if SISU let CCFC die. I'm not bothered about SISU, just CCFC. With SISU as owners, CCFC is effectively on a life support machine already and SISU could now be in a position where they want to turn this off, for whatever reason. I wouldn't view this necessary as a...

    Open Letter to Supporters

There's no point in trying to separate CCFC from SISU. They are one and the same and that's the problem. If CCFC goes with SISU then no problem, we start again.

    Open Letter to Supporters

Yes it looks like it. Well, you can't blame our fans really, after all SISU bank rolled our 7th place finish in Division Four last season....

McNulty has just scored his first goal for Reading. Watch him go and get 20 before the end of the season..

    Michael Doyle

I said it last week, I think age is catching up with Doyler now. I didn't go today but against Doncaster and Accrington he faded badly in the second half and so did the team. There's no worse than being on a pitch when you know what you need to do but your body can't get there to do it anymore...

    Player ratings

I just have a feeling that Doyle may now be struggling with fitness given his age. Dominant in the first half v both Doncaster and Accrington, always all on and demanding the ball, even if at times his distribution wasn't great. Much more subdued and less influential in the second half of both...

    Ex Player Watch

I hope Wilson gets a call up, long overdue. If he doesn't he should declare for Eire, I think he qualifies and he would start every game.

No it was Scunthorpe. I think McSheffrey is doing some coaching at Donny now.

    Maddison England Squad *CONFIRMED*

Forget the money. If Maddison is called up as seems likely, all associated with CCFC should be very proud. We set him on his way at a very difficult time in the history of the club.

Whats with the doom and gloom

The doom and gloom is probably because we are starting to realise we are back to where we were 2 seasons ago. In League One with owners who are not prepared to invest to take us any further. In particular it is clear Robins has not been backed in the Summer to go out and get a proven striker to...
