It does seem to be that had Sisu offered a decent amount to Higgs for their share then this could have all been avoided. Also its interesting to have it confirmed that the club did agree to a £400k rent (after the loan), only for JS to veto it. This was pretty much the end of negotiations...

Why would you have to buy the liability? The loan is to ACL, not the owners of ACL. You would simply buy ACL and continue to make the repayments.

Your saying then that a 3rd division team £100m in debt, with a non league fanbase, playing in a 12k stadium is an attractive proposition??

Its a more attractive proposition than buying a 3rd Division club that owns a ground but is £100m in debt.

Why would they? ACL can still be bought with the loan in place. Its a loan that will be at a better rate than the funding for the new fantasy stadium will ever be.

So, we know the council did absolutely nothing illegal, yet you would have been happy for them to be found guilty (resulting in costs for the taxpayer, and prosecutions against innocent individuals) just because the owners of your team want it?

So how would a sisu win have been good for the club?

Wouldn't have made any difference. A sisu win would have just meant further cases with the sisu parasites trying to claim money from the Coventry taxpayer.

Surely it will hasten our majestic new 12k stadium in Nuneaton. Why would insolvency happen? The Football League said Sisu have loads of money so that must be true.

They can only appeal with fresh evidence.
