Would another promotion propel Robins into the same legendary status as Jimmy Hill

Agree with all of this - MR joins the elite club above (but only after establishing us as a top 10 Championship team). There's a big argument that Milne is actually ahead of Sillett - long record in the top flight and consistently evolving and building brilliant teams. Milne's overall record in...

I wasn't there last night - watched on I-Follow. It seemed from afar that the crowd was more positive and stayed with the team even after we got off to a poor start. With the Ricoh it could go the other way - crowd becomes agitated after a poor start/negatively impacts the team. Is this a...

I think this was mentioned by someone else; we had 69% possession last night. Manchester City type stats. I've never seen us play so much possession before mainly because of set up (generally we've been 4-4-2 since I started watching in the early 80s) and we also haven't had the players with...

I think the presenters need to ask better questions if they want to elicit better answers.

As you are clearly the resident annoying weirdo on these pages, your sudden admission of necrophilia is unfortunately not even a shock to me. #fcukyou

Agree with a lot of that. Still not entirely sure what his best position is. But there's a match winner there - very good stats on goals (and I'm sure assists as well).

For someone who mocks our own players - you sure don't like being called out yourself do you? And you certainly don't seem to enjoy our players doing well.....I think that says something about you. Open goals don't usually involve the keeper being in play either and closing down. On saying...

I've played at pretty high levels. It was not impossible to hit first time but was extremely difficult. The photo was very misleading and did not represent the spin of the ball traveling very fast and in a split second at Hiwula. It was also spinning slightly behind him. It's also...

That's a totally ridiculous statement. That picture does not tell the true story in any sense. It was technically a very difficult ball to control and convert. It's very easy to criticise and mock without having a clue as to what it takes to get to the level those guys are at on the pitch.

    O’Hare

Totally on the same page Dreamer to be honest. Robins is an interesting character. Absolutely ruthless in a quiet way in changing personnel and improving the team year after year. Clearly doesn't have favourites (unlike Strachan as an example!) and if his own signings are not up to the mark...

    O’Hare

Dreamer - that's a good post and absolutely hear what you are saying. My only counter to that is that O'Hare instantly makes teams defend deeper against us and as such creates space for others. It means we play higher up the pitch. He also seems to combine very well with Godden (who is...

Great post Legia and agree with a lot of this. I do possibly see Kelly and Walsh playing together in a dream midfield 3 with Allen. Barcelona style. Or alternatively Kelly and Walsh with O'Hare as the attacking midfielder would be very exciting. Not automatically sure about O'Hare replacing...
