............ but where are the goals coming from?

    Robins linked with Bristol City.

I'm sure I read that he left Birmingham because the owner didn't like him signing players who had the same agent as he did, then the final nail was when Bellingham complained that Monk was pressuring him to join up with the same agent.

Drysdale was ahead of them at the start of the season and as we gave him an extended contract before he went out on loan I suspect he is still ahead now. I think Williams was also ahead of Thompson at that point but he's had injury set backs so not sure if he still is. Also not sure when...

Rotherham and Sky Blues remaining fixtures... predictuons

You forgot about Birmingham. If we beat Rotherham so 60 is our max & 60 is their max, it means Rotherham would have to beat Birmingham in the process, which in that scenario would mean Birmingham could only get a max 57 points. Derby therefore also have it in their own hands mathematically.

The Bristol game is fair enough, although I doubt we've played a more disinterested team all season. The one consistency with that & the other 3 games I mentioned was that we played 2 up front. We must not revert to playing only a single forward, it presents the whole initiative to the opposition.

    Thursday

I don't see how they can possibly rest anyone. They are probably thinking they need 5 to 6 points from these 3 home games, and the QPR game affords them as much opportunity for picking up points as the other 2 games do. Psychologically Thursday's game will be a lot easier for us if we know going...

He got done by their forwards too, but not quite so blatantly as Thompson did. It was a bad day all round defensively, but to be fair there are no better forward line in this league than Brooks, Solanke & Danjuma if they are interested, and unfortunately yesterday they were.

Video Bournemouth v Coventry City highlights

3rd goal was Thompson, not Pask. Thompson looked completely out of his depth, and if Pask is not available on Thursday we will definitely need Hyam back in his place. All their goals had the feel of a schoolboys match where one team is much stronger than the other, they cut through us so...

You might be right about Gyokeres, there's very little to go on with him though, so it would be a bit of a punt on MR's part to start with him. If MR sees that as the way to go at Rotherham then happy to get behind it though. On Biamou however, while not disagreeing on his limitations, the fact...

I think the point your missing Otis, as pointed out on another thread, is that you are not accounting for results that typically happen at this time of season, where form gets turned upside down. Just because QPR were good at home to Sheff Wed does not follow they will be so good in their next...

Match Thread Bournemouth (A) Sat 10th

If we are playing 2 up front I get the feeling that at this point in the time that Walker or Godden would combine better with Biamou than with each other. I appreciate that lessens our goal threat on paper, but if it allows Godden or Walker to be more of a threat themselves then it could be...

They were different players, with polar opposite attitudes to the game. Hughes was far more talented, and when interested, as in his first season with us was a good player. After that season though he sat back and stopped putting in the effort, at which point Doyle was the more effective player...

    McFadzean saves the day

Mistakes are easier to take when you still win the match, and it was a real shocker. Apart from that I thought he was outstanding. His extra aggression is definitely a bonus in a team that is a bit too nice sometimes.

    Will we stay up

No, but it provides a better barometer of where we currently stand, than do the views of some bedwetting drama queens on here.

Just to get a general feel of things

Despite the poor run we are on your opinion isn't supported by the bookies, who probably offer the most realistic independent guide to where we currently stand. Current relegation odds are Wycombe 1/200, Sheff Wed 1/10, Rotherham 6/4, Birmingham 2/1, CCFC 9/4, Derby 9/1, Huddersfield 9/1...

    Fitness in General

I get the impression he has read the criticism of him on Social Media and it has got to him, completely wrecking his confidence. Even accounting for the step up to the Championship, the last few times he's played he has simply not got involved like he should do. It is noticeable how few times he...

    QPR Ratings

The reason Giles wanted to leave was because including him we had 6 loans and with only 5 allowed in the match day squad he found himself left out. Without dropping any of our other loanees, once we signed James & Gyokeres there was no more space for any other loan signings.
