Before the game, I thought if we win it’s going to be a scrappy 1-0, and a workmanlike performance. To play that well and come back from 0-2 is a credit to the players and Robins. Luton were horrendous. Feel sorry for Kitching as I don’t think he’d let Adebayo score that 2nd goal . Binks had a...

Remember that first season back up (20/21). We started with the box formatiion that got us promoted and played some lovely stuff, but leaked goals for fun, and couldn't score enough. Robins changed us to a more direct side and it got us to safety. We never played the pretty passing, box...

    Transfer Rumour Brandon Thomas-Asante

I think Simms starts Saturday with Wright, if we're playing the 5-3-2 formation again.

    Robins Out Poll pt3

I don't want Robins gone. Not yet anyway. We need to turn it around, and go on a run, which hopefully started last night. Last season's run began with a uninspiring 0-0 against Stoke. I think we have defended fairly well in the last 2 games but have been wasteful in the forward areas. If...

Back to 4-3-3. Torp for injured Eccles, and play Rudoni deeper Binks left back, and Kitching in for Lati Mason Clark and Sakamoto wide Wright down the middle.

Simms despite his miss, at least looked dangerous when he came on, unlike Thomas-Asante.

    Dovin

He was at fault for the goal, but Dovin is way better than Wilson. This tactic of knocking it around between our defenders and GK is suicide when you have Lati in the middle who looks like a nervous child when the ball comes into his feet, and Thomas who makes regular wild passes. Both are...

QPR were absolute gash. Worst opposition I’ve seen since Maidstone last season. Once we scored, the next 30 mins was abysmal. A better opposition would have scored 2 or 3 during that period. 2nd half better, but in truth only 2 chances carved out , and we conceded. Rudoni - anonymous Lati - So...

    Sheaf

Surprising, always thought O'Hare was pretty strong for a smaller guy. I do miss him, but the things they are saying sound familar, wasteful, and flatters to deceive. He seemed to have got rid of that when he came back strongly in Dec/Jan last season. Then he lost his place.

Hit them with pure pace. Front 3 of Wright, Mason-Clark & Tavares. Torp AM, Rudoni & Sheaf CM.

    Simms and Wright

Simms has been off form, but then so has everyone else. BTA brilliant against Spurs but then awful against Swansea. Haji wildly inconsistent, Mason-Clark yet to fire, Torp very patchy, MVE not good. Even Sakamoto and Sheaf have been way down on last years levels, but of course they are both not...

Thomas, Bassette & Simms dropped. I can't believe you thought Thomas played well on Satuday?

    Respect for Latibeudiere

He's a good defender, but looks uncomfortable on the ball, when we're knocking it around at the back (a continious trend this season) - I still think his best position would be a no-nosense holding midfielder role behind Sheaf & Rudoni, sweeping things up and allowing the other CMs license to...

Christ that defence would be suicide. JDS and Lati in a back four? I’d go. Same formation than Preston. Kitching for Thomas, and play Lati at RCB Wright and BTA as the CFs

Dovin - Think that clears up who should be our No.1. No way Wilson saves that drilled low shot in the first half. MVE and Thomas - Awful Simms - Just what is going on? It’s like we’ve travelled back 12 months. Should have scored that header 1st half. He’s too uninvolved for me, and his touch...

Match Thread Preston vs. Coventry City - Match Thread - Sat 19th Oct

Without reading any other opinions. Much better today, apart from the finishing. The real score should have been 2-3 as Preston did have 3 or 4 big chances. Dovin, Bassett and Dasilva excellent. Our top players let us down today. Sheaf, MVE, Simms not at the races. Unlucky to lose today...

    Robins for England!

England need a motivator, in the mould of Venabes, Redknapp, Atkinson for me. Not many left these days. Pochettino should of been the target

Big game for Robins. If we lose tomorrow (as most are expecting), then we have to beat QPR for me otherwise he's gone

    Robins for England!

Exactly what I thought. However, take out Howe & Potter. Can anyone name 3 other English managers more deserving than Robins? Typical TalksSport crap. Tuchel has fallen out with players and the hierachy of every club he's been at. It won't end well.
