He’s just not good enough. If he carries on scoring at his current rate then, over the whole season, he’s only going to score 40 league goals. Pathetic. 😆

He’s playing well at the moment and it’s good to have a bit of competition. Thinking about it, I think most of our players are doing well at the moment even the ones such as BTA, Simms and Dasilva who have had their critics in the past.

We are currently on track to score 126 league goals this season (127 if you round the half goal up rather than down). 😆

I agree. If our best players can avoid serious injury - perhaps missing just a few games at most - then I think we are in with a decent chance of automatic promotion. That said, I have a feeling it’s going to be close. I don't think it will be like last year when Leeds and Burnley ran away...

Simms made that goal. It’s easy to say that his touch wasn’t good when the chance arose but he was clearly being fouled and we may well have got a penalty if Torp had missed.

There’s no doubt that having Rudoni out for a few weeks is a blow but Grimes, Eccles and Torp is still a very good midfield trio. Thank goodness that Eccles returned to fitness just in time and is in good form.

An excellent win today. It was nice to see Eccles having a good game. He will be an important cog in the team if Rudoni is out for a while.

It would be silly to say this is a must win game but I really hope we do. I want us to put one over Birmingham and I would be very disappointed if, after this match, we have only won two of our first seven games. I truly believe be are better than that.
