    SBT’s general election poll

This seems a strange stance. Fair enough if you don't want to vote Labour as you don't agree with their policies. However I find the idea that Corbyn, constantly painted as a bumbling idiot who has no control over the Labour party, will suddenly turn into a dictator with a vice like grip on...

    Keogh

Agreed, don't think anyone is defending him but you can't sack Keogh, who at the end of the day was a passenger who has not been charged with anything, while keeping two other players, who have both been charged and found guilty. Lets not kid ourselves, they're just trying to get out of paying...

    More Wasps BS?

Its disgusting. Only made worse by the fact the likes of our Trust, Telegraph and CWR will stand around applauding them while they do it.

Doesn't this have the potential to cause further problems with achieving Brexit if the Brexit party were to win seats rather than the Conservatives. If Johnson doesn't get a majority he will need the support of the minor parties. He's already pissed off the DUP and his WA doesn't match the...

    Sunderland away

Or maybe they could work out how to effectively police and steward and game. And in a ground that has 10K plus empty seats every game not have the away fans situated above the home fans.

    Sunderland away

Its a joke really and they should be thoroughly embarrassed. Sunderland hadn't crossed anyone's mind down here until they started making threats before the Ricoh game. They then turned up and caused, by modern standards, a fair amount of trouble. How many other games have seen the memorial...

    Ex Player Watch

That can be the only thing they can argue when it reaches court but I can see them struggling. Keogh will say he was attending a club event, wasn't drink driving and wasn't charged with any offence. He can also bring up the comments of the judge that sentenced the two drivers "The readings...

    Keogh

This is why they say they've sacked him Be interesting to see how they are going to show that two players found guilty of drink driving and leaving the scene of an accident, who the judge said were lucky not to be dismissed for gross misconduct, don't qualify as having put their colleague in...

    Keogh

Bound to end up in court so Derby will need to be able to cite precedence of players who have been sacked without pay when incurring injuries from non-football actives. Are there such cases they can cite? If his contracts ending just pay it up and its over and done with. This will now be a...

    Keogh

He's under contract. They can't just decide to not pay him what he is contractually due. When it inevitably ends up in court they're going to have to show they have a valid reason to sack him but continue to employ the two players who were the drivers in the incident.

    Keogh

Don't see how Derby are going to be able to defend this when it ends up in court. If they'd sacked all three of them fair enough but you can't keep playing the two players who were driving and sack one who was a passenger, it's ridiculous. Wouldn't be surprised to see some sort of lawsuit from...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

But it’s off the table until after the election which is the important thing. The concern was an election would be called and we’d drop out on no deal before a new government was formed.

I don't think we will get a clear winner either. Polls don't really take into account the voting system. Translating that poll lead into additional seats might not be straightforward.

Can't imagine Johnson doesn't have skeletons in his closet. Wonder what will come out over the course of the campaign. Although it does seem as with Trump he can get away with anything. Their other issue will be managing his appearances. There's a reason he doesn't get interviewed by anyone...

Certainly hope so. The other option would be stalling for a few more weeks and falling out by default with no deal if the EU refuse to extend further. Get the feeling they are getting pissed off with extensions being requested and then wasted on leadership elections and general elections and...

You think Corbyn will lose Islington? Can't see any chance of that happening. He's been in since 1983 and has a 33K majority on a 55K turnout (up from 21K in the previous general election). The total electorate in that seat is only 75K.

    More Wasps BS?

One of the early valuations, might even have been the first one, made it very clear that the valuation was done on the basis of information supplied by Wasps. Given that they later were found to have given false information relating to their accounts you have to wonder about the accuracy.

Johnson has done a cracking job of getting Brexit delayed. Having got a positive vote on his WA it could have been full steam ahead but now we're going to be in election mode until 12th December. Then, at best, a week before the Christmas recess. If they come back on the 6th that gives 4 weeks...
