    Best Stand-ups

If we're going old school I went down a YouTube hole of watching the likes of Cannon and Ball and Freddie Starr recently. They could both have a crowd in the palm of their hands.

    Best Stand-ups

Bill Burr, Roy Wood Jr, Ricky Gervais, Peter Kay, Reg D Hunter, Chris Rock and Kevin Hart are on my list along with the legend that was Bill Hicks. Current favourite is Lewis Black. Shame he hardly ever comes over here. Not a surprise when he plays big shows in the states but was at Glee in...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Under this plan if we get to the end of the transition period in December 2020 without an agreement won't we still come out with no deal?

SBT vote on the Boris Johnson withdrawal agreement.....

Mad isn't it. Johnson is being lauded for going back to the deal first offered by the EU. One that he called "the worst of all worlds" and JRM called "cretinous". Even May said it was "a deal that no British prime minister could accept".

SBT vote on the Boris Johnson withdrawal agreement.....

Its the same as May's deal but the backstop has been replaced with a border in the Irish Sea. Apologies for linking to the Guardian but they've gone through the text to pick out the differences: How much of Johnson's 'great new deal' is actually new?

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Dominic Rabb making a good case for remaining in the EU on R4 Today this morning. ""it's a cracking deal for Northern Ireland ... they get frictionless access to the Single Market and Customs Union".

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Wonder who said this "Under no circumstances, whatever happens, will I allow the EU or anyone else, to create any kind of division down the Irish Sea or attenuate our Union".

Think they targeted Canning Town on the Jubilee Line and the DLR. The two services that run into the City of London.

Greta Thunberg / Climate Change Summit

Not something I would do but whats the alternative? See lots of people on social media saying there's other ways to raise awareness but that's not the issue. Is there really anyone who needs to be made aware that climate change is an issue? This was being talked about when I was at school in the...

I genuinely don't think a lot of people realise that. People seem to think once this is sorted that's it, we leave and its job done.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

What is different in this deal compared to the one originally offered by the EU that Johnson said was "the worst of all worlds", JRM called "cretinous" and May said was "a deal that no British prime minister could accept"?

Are you certain? Sky's political correspondent, Lewis Goodall is reporting "EU source says: “It’s not in his gift to rule it out, he is just defending the deal and saying one shouldn't be needed...I am 100% certain EU27 would permit an extension if deal falls on Saturday.”"

The Benn Act will still apply though won't it? Wouldn't that mean Johnson would still have to request one and then it would be for the EU27, not Junker himself, to decide if they grant one or not.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

We had an advisory referendum in 2016 which has led to this shitshow. So, as you've stated leave are 100% guaranteed to win a second referendum, why would you not be in favour of a second legally binding referendum? All the arguments that people have changed their mind, didn't know no deal was...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Just make the second one legally binding. If, as you say, its a 100% certainty leave would win why would any leaver be against a legally binding second referendum?
