    General Election 2019 thread

Same here. Its a disgrace. Seems £80K is the point at which you start paying extra. For example earn £100K a year and you pay an extra £83 a month, but that still leaves you with a take home of over £5.4K a month.

This is the kind of crap you get when so called journalists are scrambling to dig up any bit of dirt they can find. The Guardians Jonathan Freedland managed to get the wrong Majid Mahmood.

    We want to go home.

Will just be that whatever site that is hasn't updated their system to show our home ground as St Andrews, unless there's a screenshot from earlier in the season showing St Andrews as our ground.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Wasn't really aimed at you, just a general rant. Not sure if its a generational thing. My Dad is convinced I should be saving hundreds every month no matter how many times I point out my salary just about covers rent, bills and food. My Mum thought I'd be able to buy a house no worries and when...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

At the end of the day people can talk about interest rates and percentage of income etc but most voters are going to go off their personal experience. For an ever increasing number of people finding affordable housing is an issue and that will influence their vote. I can only look at my...

    We want to go home.

Just got to wait until 2023 and we'll have the Ricoh all to ourselves. Its on wiki so it must be true.

    We want to go home.

The Ricoh is a decent stadium, but certainly showing signs of ageing and lack of maintenance. The problem is that for most of the time we played there it was pretty miserable! For me the problems with the Ricoh are largely around matchday issues caused by poor event management. Obviously we'd...

    General Election 2019 thread

How on earth do they get that headline? When you read the story Argentina's new president Fernandez has been elected on a platform of reclaiming the Falklands. Both Johnson and Corbyn have given Fernandez their congratulations on winning the election and Fernandez will be seeking talks...

    More Wasps BS?

Property development and players owning housing seems to be involved at Saracens. Remember when Wasps owner purchased land next to Higgs to build housing on. That never happened and it seems the land has now been sold on.

    Wasps downward spiral...

He's not wrong, just not in the way intended. If he opened his eyes and looked at how their training ground has gone from state of the art new facility to redeveloping Higgs to a joint scheme with another club to moving into a college sports centre I'd agree their actions do speak volumes.

    General Election 2019 thread

Think that's probably good new for Labour having him gone without the mess of deselecting. All he seemed to do why try and stir up trouble and undermine Corbyn. Bet there will be a lot of Labour members hoping a few others follow him. Shame so many people are leaving Labour and Conservative and...

    Saracens points deduction

I can see a problem looming down the line if Saracens decide to pursue it. It will be like Bosman and a restraint of trade argument made. Hard to see how the RFU can argue that a system specifically designed to limit wages isn't preventing players from maximising their income. Will take years...
