When do we expect to hear about Mowbray ?

Is RFC around? He knows Joy well, I believe. What's she thinking R? (Hope you don't mind me calling you R).

    Just How Good Is Maddison?

Well, he's got a brain and is cool-headed to go with the skill. Love this quote about his goal on Sunday: “I was confident. I knew I just needed to get a good contact on it and with just a defender in the way I knew if I put it mid height just to his side that he couldn’t use his hands. I...

    Mowbray or Waggott

It's a story on the CET site: http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sport/football/football-news/tony-mowbray-coventry-city-owner-9177508 I have to say, I really like the things Mowbray is saying and believe he has a reasonable chance of success. If Joy vetoes this it will show that SISU has no...

    Crawley fan in peace

I once read this on a toilet wall: "If you laid all the girls from Wood End out in a line, I wouldn't be at all surprised".

Is there any sequence of scores that could result in us both staying up and Sunderland being relegated?

    Crawley Town Match Thread

I fear this will be our last game in League 1 for several years. This is exactly the kind of game that we don't turn up for. Hope I'm wrong.

    £1.2m?

Not finding much online showing budgets. Did find an article on Conference budgets which range from 1.3m to 310k. So if the £1.2m is correct, we can be happy to know we'll be at the top end of Conference budgets when we get there.

    £1.2m?

I was looking for data on budgets for all teams and came across the Telegraph (not CET, the broadsheet) predictions for the season. This is what it had to say about City and Crawley: Coventry City Manager: Steven Pressley. Last season: 18th. Murray’s verdict: I fear for them, I actually think...

Time for Madison to get into the gym this Summer?

I meant for him to become stronger not fat! :). He will add body mass as he gets older, agreed - but he'll only become strong if he gets into the gym. It made all the difference in the world for Wilson.

Time for Madison to get into the gym this Summer?

If his core were stronger he'd have fewer back problems.

I believe they only come in one colour ;)

Time for Madison to get into the gym this Summer?

This time in 2012 Wilson was a skinny kid who got knocked off the ball pretty easily. He came back in August looking like a man - he'd obviously spent a long time bulking up during the Summer. Look at him now - I wouldn't be surprised to see him mentioned in an England squad sometime within...

    Coventry for promotion in 15/16?

I like the plan. Once we have bought a good team we should instruct them to run fast and score lots of goals. But don't concede any.

Verdict on today and the future.

It's very easy to blame the Ricoh for our performances but it struck me earlier that is may be due instead to us not being very good at football. Everyone has a talent and rather than change the team in the Summer we should change the activity. Let's do some tests with the current team and...
