The key to goalscoring is clearly having Max and Shipley in the team ;)

Great. What we really need when we're struggling to score is to have Walker and Godden both out for a few weeks.

That doesn't make sense. What part of the covid restrictions say you can have home commentary but not away?!

Primary schools in London to stay closed until at least the 18th. Does that not mean they'll have primary kids, where we're told transmission is virtually zero, off while exam years at secondaries, where transmission is higher, will be back in a week earlier? Not to mention why only London?

In the grand scheme of things a coach won't cost much. You can hire a 16 sleeper tour bus (the type touring musicians live on) for £500 a day so a Harry Shaw coach to London and back should be affordable. Not like they're going to be swamped with bookings at the moment.

    Things that annoy you

I like fireworks as much as the next person but its got out of hand. Started about 5pm last night and was constant until well after midnight. Has already started again tonight, fortunately seems to be just the odd handful of people tonight. It now seems like we have 3 months of it. Fortunately...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Isn't there a limit (90 days?) to how long you can keep using a UK license in the EU? Government website says you need to change to a local license, should be up to date as it was published yesterday. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/driving-in-the-eu-uk-licence-holders-living-in-the-eu

Think this is the key. We need to start seeing announcements of trade deals that are significantly better than the terms we had as members of the EU. And of course worth remembering that the EU are also going to be working to access emerging markets and do a trade deal. Its not an emerging...

Everyday at work I'm dealing with companies who have their offices open and staff in when there is absolutely no reason their business couldn't continue uninterrupted with everyone working from home. What I can't understand is that even when they brought in the new tiers they admitted only...

Hopefully with vaccines, even if it means the vulnerable getting an annual shot as they do with flu, and improved treatments we can get things back to normal and it really does become similar to getting the flu. If we get to that stage within 18 - 24 months of the Wuhan outbreak that is an...

There seems to be less people moving onto ventilation which is obviously a good thing. Assume that is down to increased knowledge of how to treat covid. At the first peak there was 21,683 in hospital and 3,301 on ventilators. We're currently at 23,813 in hospital but ventilator numbers are 1,847.

What happened to the communicty mass testing that the governement said was being rolled out in Coventry weeks ago, did that ever happen? Is there any reason that capacity can't be used for schools rather than hoping parents will do the job? Doesn't this risk leaving schools in poorer areas...

    Transfer Rumour Jack Clarke

Not sure how you can say "people saying we don’t won’t be in the know" and then assert that we definitely will. Recent history suggests we don't bring in many first team regulars in January yet for some reason we have people that think this season, when we have one of the smallest budgets in...
