Saw some BA flights to Vegas for £300 for late this year. Was tempted but in the small print it says if you change the flight its not a straightforward date change, you get a voucher for the amount the initial booking cost to use against the cost of a new booking. They'll always get your money...

Another fine example of trickle down economics. The amount chief execs earn has gone from 20 times the average worker in the 80s to now be 120 times. BBC saying they have to work 34 hours to beat the median average pay. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-55551314 Also in the news the ONS have...

    24 Hours in Police Custody

I've no idea how nobody lost it with that women and her sudden onset of any illness she could think of. Made me laugh when one of the coppers said 'she'll have polio by the end of the week'.

Government create their own problems a lot of the time. If they hadn't made any mention of getting 10 million doses of Pfizer and 30 million doses of Cambridge Astra by the end of 2020 then we'd all be thinking it was going brilliantly in terms of getting hold of vaccines. Over promising leads...

The BBC article is interesting. Around 15 million doses of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine in the country, about half what the government said would be available by the end of 2020 but only 4 million have been filled and finished ready for use. Interestingly the factory in Wales where this finish...

Doesn't this in part come down to companies having sufficient staffing levels rather than running everything on the minimum possible to save money? Obviously if half your workforce is off there's a problem but most businesses should be able to cope with a certain level of staff being off. What...

In lockdown 1 local forces were advised by the National Police Chiefs’ Council to work on the basis that the length of the exercise had to be greater than the time spent on travel. Or something along those lines, can't remember the exact wording. Suspect they'll use similar this time as nothing...

Other countries didn't allow exemptions to mask wearing did they? If you left the house you worse a mask, if you had a medical condition that meant you couldn't wear a mask you weren't deemed safe to leave the house. We've done the double whammy of allowing exemptions and not requiring any...

Frustrating that we're 9 months into this and still talking about the same issues we had day one. Increased deliveries, click & collect and booked slots for shopping shouldn't be that hard to implement. Thats just off the top of my head sure there's plenty of other things that can be done.
