Will Sisu Now Decide to press for Admin - as the season is now almost done?

Ferret, you will have us crying in a minute. So many assumptions in that post. Hedge funds play hardball. Their investors are people willing to risk big money in the hope of making big gains. The idea that they have worked hard for this money is laughable. Many of them inherited it, embezzled...

    Bucket shake for women's team

I don't support all charities but If folks make the effort to collect in the freezing weather we had last week I would find some loose change even if I didn't usually like the cause much. Some of you Neanderthals need to have a word with yourself with these macho remarks.

Sisu - it's always somebody elses fault

You see this is what doesn't ring true for me. The revenue streams from the Ricoh are tiny compared to a council's budget and it seems more likely that CCC want rid of the whole thing but only to a company they trust to keep that part of Coventry improving. The last thing CCC need is aggressive...

Sisu - it's always somebody elses fault

Elephant, If the council owned the Ricoh and CCFC you think they would milk it and let it rot. Am I right? Cannot see it, myself. If such an unlikely event came to pass the council would want to sell it, surely? Maybe interested parties would then step forward, including part owned by...

Sisu - it's always somebody elses fault

Sorry elephant, you still haven't explained why SISU would be better than your alleged cunning plan of a council owned club? Unlikely, but you need to explain why this would be worse.

Genuinely does anyone think the play offs are still on

No, not now the players will worry about not getting paid & we missed out on another striker. Squad remains weak and unable to close the gap IMO Hope this post gets rammed down my throat in 2 months time!

Sisu - it's always somebody elses fault

Elephant, If the council want the Ricoh with CCFC in it, why would that be worse than what we have now with SISU? That was my question.

Sisu - it's always somebody elses fault

Elephant, Why would the council getting control of the Ricoh with CCFC in it (cannot see why the council would want this scenario, but anyway...) be worse than SISU?

You haven't answered my question. You have changed the subject .. Like a politician!

Sisu - it's always somebody elses fault

So why would that be worse than where we are at now?

Sisu - it's always somebody elses fault

Why would the council want it without CCFC to play in it? Genuine question BTW

Sisu - it's always somebody elses fault

Whatever you think of politicians (IMO harsh to regard local politicians, many of whom have a good service to their community record, who get paid nothing, only expenses ... In the same league as MPs) no-one has given any reason why EVERY local councillor has taken this line. So, I will pose...

    Bucket shake for women's team

Raised £700 at game v. Crewe. Seems a poor effort from Sky Blues fans. 10 thousand fans at 7p each? Can we support a Sky Blues team who just play for fun and are proud to represent our city? .... Apparently not... Shame really.

Breaking news: Acl call off rent talks

Can anyone enlighten me on what Coun Mutton has to gain financially from this? His earnings for last year from the council are listed as £37k, which is less than I earn. Doesn't seem to be raking it in exactly.

You can say what you like but I won't have it said that a lady faints in Pride and Prejudice! Get your facts straight. Jane Austen's women do not faint!

    Dublin v Regis

Regis, by some distance. Dion was good but mainly as a finisher. All round play was much better from Cyrille ... A class act and made others around him look good. I liked Dion but my all time hero centre forward was Colin Stein closely followed by Mick Ferguson!

    Can we get auto?

With the current squad I really think we are short and I will be happy if we avoid the season petering out. At present we are not strong enough and I can't remember the last time we played really well. We need another striker to help Clarke and the midfield needs a shake up. Last night, in all...

    Clarke

He played well tonight but he needs much more support from the rest of the team. I am not convinced he can play 4-5-1 as we currently set up with the midfield too deep and the wingers wasteful and inaccurate with crosses.

    SISU's new problem

Yes, perhaps, but you see that was not his main point at all. As soon as he said it the pack smelt blood and bayed and barked. His main point was then ignored under a tide of ridicule. It is classic in it's simplicity and leads to despair.
