    Next season's kit

Not all sky blue, we were the first and wore it for most of the 15 seasons before they ever wore it. In the 60s and 70s everyone knew we were the sky blues, Manchester City were NEVER called that. Your argument is that we shouldn't copy them because they are now considered the sky blues by the...

    Stephen Fry 'quits' Twitter

People tell jokes. Nearly every joke that is funny is insulting someone or something, even if it's only an idea. The degree of the insult is judged by many things, context, person who made the joke, audience etc. People get offended by jokes sometimes and we decide whether to apologise or let it...

    Next season's kit

As we were the first to have an all sky blue kit and they had one later, for a while, I think your argument is weak. What it boils down to is they stole our kit and we should just let them. The big boy stole my ball so I have to find another. As MT would say, weak weak weak. :guitar2:

Automatic or a day at Wembley

Automatic. The play off final is during half term and therefore myself, and plenty of other people, are away on holiday.

    Next season's kit

Manchester City were always white shorts. If you look on historical kits the wearing of blue shorts was not the norm for them, and isn't now. I can see them on my TV screen in white shorts.

    Next season's kit

People seem to forget we were also relegated from the top tier, after 34 years, in the striped shirt. All sky blue was what Jimmy Hill introduced and he made the club what it is in the modern era. All sky blue is in the club's DNA now.

    Next season's kit

Can I put this out there early ... next season we should be playing in Jimmy Hill's all sky blue kit, the closest design we can get to either the first one or the 67 champions one. Can someone find and post the pictures and maybe we could start a poll on which we prefer?

NEWS : Junior doctors set to strike again in Coventry and Warwickshire

Government will impose the contract. Junior doctors should continue to strike and let the non emergency operations waiting list build up until the public demand the government back down. If the government win it is part of the bigger aim to privatise the NHS. If you don't back the doctors I hope...

Belief? At what point do you think we lost ours?

I think I always knew we would be crap when we sold Dennis Mortimer to Villa when I was about 12.

    Dads army

I think it's blokey dialogue and the petty rivalries between the characters that is appealing. Some people enjoy humour when they can map out in their mind how each character will react, and the pettiness of their irritations. I think it's the same as enjoying seeing other people get wound up by...

    The delusion continues

I think without another striker we have no chance of promotion. We might make the play offs but would lose out IMO.

    Time to face facts

Speak for yourselves, not everyone is motivated by money. Having said that I have no grudge against Maddison. Footballers in the modern era are money orientated. Just saying not everyone is. My grievance is not with the player. I don't even mind us selling players for whatever amount. The...

Are we just a feeder club

We are in the third division. We aim to stay in the third division. We will sell every decent player, and crucially, replace them with lesser players Rinse and repeat. We have no idea how to go up except by making one step forward and one step back for 20 years and hoping one day we might get lucky.

NCFC probably offered cash up front and CCFC decided to grab it. Undisclosed always means buttons IMO.
