The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Looks like it at the moment. Or do you think the present situation is a roaring success?

I think that by leaving we will suffer. Definitely in the short term, and probably long term. By saying we should remain I am hardly hoping that the UK will suffer.

Hope you’re right, but I think that it is inevitable that we move closer together rather than apart.

Because they are populists. Read the definition in the clip from the Guardian. Bannon, who is the self appointed leader of populists counts them as part of a populist movement. Populists can be from left or right, it is about their tactics rather than their political views.

Yes, the UK‘s best for 2 months and Eurozone‘s worst since 2016. caused largely by Italy‘s populists falling out with the EU over their budget.

Yes. Here is a great example of democracy in action: Revealed: the hidden global network behind Tommy Robinson

Oh good. If parliament does go for a people’s vote on the deal, no deal or no Brexit you will be all for it then? Great we at last agree on something.

You haven’t mentioned the bench. Tommy Robinson will be brought on from the start for the next game. I don’t rate Batten at all. Too old and can only play on the far right. Robinson could certainly smash through the opponents centre backs, but will have trouble playing on the left. Let’s see...

You seem to forget that we are where we are because of people like yourself voting leave. We are a distressed trading partner looking at potential options like joining Norway in EFTA, along with Liechtenstein and Iceland. That may appear humiliating, but you and your ilk have put us there. I...

No. It’s just a fact. Keep on believing.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Yeah, they need the approval of Iceland and Liechtenstein to do anything and they think the UK wouldn’t fit in with the balance..

Sorry Grendel. I don’t think Norway wants us in their EFTA club: "I think you would mess it all up for us, the way you have messed it all up for yourselves." Heidi Nordby Lunde, president of Norway's European Movement, is sceptical about calls for the UK to strike a Norway-style deal with the EU.

No. I don’t have a go at governments for following the system we have of employing people and trying to care for people ( at least some try ). I just don’t think it can go on ad infinitum. In my lifetime it will go on, and in the foreseeable future, but at some distant future time people may...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

No. Accept things as they are at the moment. If we can come with a better idea of controlling population growth without banning people from having children, or killing people, then bring it on. It won’t change in our life times. Maybe one day we, our grand children, will just have robots to...

I agree that our economy is based on ever more people. At sometime something has to change.

It is not a fact that all people that say stop FOM are racists, but some are.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Yes. That is it. That is human society as we know it. Nothing to do with the EU. We, you and I, are coming up to the age where we will retire and not produce anything, but as we get older we will need more care. Do you wish to change the system now? And say, who cares about the elderly, send the...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

The first problem is now, and in 10 to 20 years when the baby boomers need more care. There is no guarantee that the young people that are now here working in hospitality or construction will still be here when they retire in 40 years. The trend is that they are going back as their countries...

I haven’t missed it. But, you cannot control immigration that closely. We have millions of tourists, and people passing through and back to Ireland. If there are vacancies we will have migrants. We have vacancies for unskilled people and they will be filled by EU citizens legally or non EU under...
