...increase in migrants across the Channel.

Apparently it is not unusual to have people sneaking in on boats anyway. Nothing new. There have been more in past years, but, it is being made into a crisis although the numbers are insignificant. Why? It seems to be a distraction.

You mentioned Merkel and asked me what her policy was. I replied and now you call it my hobby horse. Why did you ask the question if you’re not interested in the answer? Merkel and Germany in general are the hobby horse of leavers. Just like Soros.

...increase in migrants across the Channel.

I was there, Coventry University Hospital, early hours of 28.12 . A&E. There were lots of immigrants and people of immigrant descent. They were the staff. Some spoke with accents. My mother was treated really well and I would hate to see how it would work, ( it wouldn’t), if you removed all...

If you read Chief Dave’s post maybe that would help. As for Merkel’s „wir schaffen das“ which led to over a million coming, that was not a permanent policy. Whatever. There was a war on and people were fleeing in droves. Germany knows about refugees. There was actually massive support at first...

...increase in migrants across the Channel.

Considering it’s you who brought the subject up in the first place... a bit of a daft thing to say. Merkel doesn’t want illegal immigration anyway and wants a common immigration policy. You don’t seem to understand that. My preferred solution is international cooperation with our EU partners...

You are the one blaming France allowing them through as a punishment for the UK leaving the EU. Same shit, different bucket. Read your own posts before you reply.

There is a difference between a weak and unstable government and the country as a whole. We are still in the EU. So according to your logic there must be something good about the EU.

Eton College and Balliol, Oxford. That’s Roty Stewart‘s education btw. Right qualifications for the Tory government. Or Labour possibly.

Yes. I thought we were on one. Still occasional fire coming in though. Anyway, I am sitting in front of my Christmas tree having had my German Christmas. Family and presents. Tomorrow is my English Christmas with my daughter and her boyfriend. Merry Christmas to everyone.

We may well have a second referendum. You. All others and around half of ours see the benefits which is why the EU won’t budge on FOM.

I prefer the politics of the the pre Iraq Blair creature. The country wasn’t in the mess that it is in today and the far right and left were stewing on their own in their appropriate corners. Happy days.

That you haven’t taken into account that things have changed since 2016 and now a majority want a second referendum, and that 27.5 countries in the EU see benefits from FOM. You don’t, but out of 500 million citizens you belong to a tiny minority.

No. He is out of touch. Labour members want a second referendum. Which labour Socialist would be on the same page as Trump and Putin?

The government acted on behalf of the public... it’s called parliamentary democracy.. now we have a government that is split and an opposition that is split. Anyway HSV lost to Kiel. HSV is still top and Kiel is in the running for a play off place ... so wtf I am happy.. :-) Back for the...
