No. I think Hamburg was a red fortress before the war, but the reds quickly became browns. Von Ribbentrop was impressed by some similarities of views in the Soviet Union when he was over there.

The old lady who was my neighbour in Hamburg in the 80s said don’t trust either extremes. Hamburg was a red fortress before the Nazis came to power. She said plenty of them became Nazis when the Nazis took over. I was living in a traditional working class neighborhood.

Funny how the far right and far left governments always end up being centralised dictatorships.

No, you’re on here purely to act like a twat, usually after a visit to the pub. You are doing it very well to be fair.

The centre of your brainless attention. Not happy at that. I am certainly not the centre of everyone else‘s attention despite you continually mentioning me.

The world is heading for recession. That includes the UK which has the added disadvantage of Brexit. No good news anywhere. Merely because Germany is revising their figures and outlook downwards doesn’t mean the EU are going to come with the begging bowl. Germany has the most people working and...

Oh great. Big disaster or small disaster? Do you seriously think the majority would be happy with that? A referendum without an option for half of the country? Whatever side won, it would be around 25% of the country making the decision. We have enough problems with a 52:48 result.

If we leave with no deal there is no transition. What did the EU say about nothing changing whilst negotiations happen? They also said no trade negotiations without a withdrawal agreement.

No I didn’t. I said I disagree with several posters who are generally on my side and would find it strange if they always agreed with me. I also said that I view Brexit as self harm and therefore irrational. I disagree with Tony on some things and with you on a lot of things.

Yes, I did social and economic history at A level. We touched on the third Reich. I have also talked with people who lived through it and visited the Documentation Center at Nürnberg. Very interesting to recognise how these things evolve.

No. If it were a reputable company. There are some who would get the results the commissioner wanted, but my qualification was „ reputable company“.
