Heiko Maas has said there would be more talks if May loses, but no significant concessions. Maybe they would keep more things going if article 50 was extended.

Not according to Astute’s link. They made it quite clear that the contingency plans wouldn’t be the same as the transition period.

CCFC are being discussed at Westminster today

Seems familiar. If CCFC cannot play, everyone including Wasps lose. Even Joy will have to admit to her investors that any hope of selling CCFC have gone. The losses caused by her investment will be obvious. Her only hope would be an unlikely court win. What a mess.

There will be no Transition Period in no deal. That is why they call it no deal. The transition period is dependent on a deal. It’s in the deal which will be rejected tonight. Enjoy.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

No it doesn’t. It says if there is no deal certain things will be extended 9 months, 1 year or 2 years, but it will be nowhere near as good as if they accept the deal with a transition period. In other words only the essential things such as air travel, lorry licenses, and financial transactions...

I‘ll bring food packages when I come back in April. Plenty of Sauerkraut as it has vitamins to keep the scurvy at bay.

Little, but we lose that if it is no deal. Which is what you want and makes life more difficult, but not impossible. Another great Brexit benefit next to French made blue passports with less power, or a commemorative 50p for use in the toilets. And you say some people still think leave is better...

No. It isn’t it says clearly that the measures will not be as good as having a transition period. Read your own links.

Your link: The Commission says these measures should not compare with EU membership, or the transition period on offer in the Withdrawal Agreement - which the UK Parliament has yet to vote on.

No, but if some predictions are right you may be a Brexit winner when they all fit you again.

Have you a link to this? No deal means no transition period. That means things change over night.

Yes, quite agree. I hope that the truth comes out. As for both sides, there must be an equivalence. If one side made accounting errors and the other took dark money from non UK accounts, then you cannot say, „they all cheated so that’s ok“.

The speaker has full authority to make sure MPs follow the rules of the House. Which is what he has just done. You don’t like that he follows the rules of the House.

I have admitted nothing of the sort. But as I have said, this government is known for trying it on.

I like his answer: Bercow: 'I have no intention of taking lectures on doing right by Parliament from people who have been conspicuous in denial of, and sometimes contempt for it...and I will not be pushed around by agents of the executive branch'

I suspect that as someone who actually does the job and has been re-elected to that job more than once by parliament, that he may have a better idea of the job than you or I. That is why I quote his Argumentation as opposed to listening to your usual bollocks.
