    Dale Evans .......

Or your expectations of how this should pan out were not met?

    Dale Evans .......

He is not a businessman. I cant say I disagree that it should be done in private but its his game now, his ball and he is free to play it his way.

Latest Sky Blue Trust leter to Timmy

In terms of moving outside the city on an emergency basis I would have no issue with nuneaton or the butts as it is in our catchment area. If it was permanent then that's a different matter all together. The politics of this is no longer Sisu expecting to win but are scavenging in the hope...

Phone in Tonight - Potentially something "big"

Because you have been taken in by others you are no longer open to the possibility he is genuine? I am consistent in my approach, I have no idea if Dale Evans is a chancer or the real deal and nor have you. If he is a fantasist then we have lost nothing and if he is a genuine bidder then we have...

The all new sparkling positivity thread

Yes the facts show that we are not in a relegation battle and are well poised as they say to push in, however I do not share the positive outlook. We are not making chances and we are not changing our pattern of play to do so. The dogmatic approach of Robins means more of the same each time...

Match Thread Coventry City - Colchester United Match Thread - Saturday 21st Oct

The best players and managers find a way to win games. Robins stubbornness is not a strength. His refusal to change anything will be his personal downfall. By the way I am 2 hours ahead so I know the final score!

Phone in Tonight - Potentially something "big"

Well on the evidence of two recent games I saw Nick, you couldn't do worse up front! Now back to Dale Evans. He admits he is new to money and is looking at an emotional purchase. His approach is unorthodox but what has orthodox got us in the past generation? My view is let it play out. Best...

And the only way we will find out is time, we can't influence so we have to just wait and see.

Phone in Tonight - Potentially something "big"

I have no idea if he is a chancer however don't you want him to be a lifeline. Fan, local, wealthy, tell me do you really give a shit about the sensitivities of Sisu? If the money is right they will be out of the City and that is something I will say amen to.

Phone in Tonight - Potentially something "big"

Don't challenge a word of what you have said except that he hasn't met with anybody within Sisu as yet. He may turn out to join the litany of chancers but he also may turn out to be Brian!

Phone in Tonight - Potentially something "big"

I am like all of us, I just don't know and as cynical as I am about characters like this I also note that he is a Coventry City fan, wealthy and wants to spend his money on an emotional purchase. That for me buys him time to explore. If nothing comes of it what have we lost? What has he gained...

Phone in Tonight - Potentially something "big"

A Coventry City fan, who is new to wealth, announces he wants to buy the club and he is subjected to vitriol from his own people! You couldn't make it up, no wait and see, no I hope he is genuine. What the fuck is in it for him at this stage? PR? bump his status? This guys status is his bank...

Phone in Tonight - Potentially something "big"

I tend to agree with that statement based upon that is exactly what are current owners are. What I am hopeful about is that in conjunction with the other interested parties, who are businessmen, we can get over the line and move on from the wreck of CCFC.

Phone in Tonight - Potentially something "big"

By what are you measuring that statement? Current owners= disaster Dale= unknown. I am presuming this guy is not a criminal, just a guy who has come into some money and is looking at an emotional purchase. We will find out soon enough if he is fool or a serious bidder.

Phone in Tonight - Potentially something "big"

this guy has come from left field, he doesn't say he is a businessman, he has stated clearly he has come in to money. He hasn't even met with the owners so he wouldn't be subject to a NDA. I wouldn't be so inclined to prejudge the guy. If he is a joker we are no worse off than now and if he is...

    City of Culture Bid

I don't bow to anybody with my love and gratitude for my hometown. Even I wouldn't argue why Coventry City were not on the bid. Our club is toxic, we are at the lowest point in our post war history and I could have made a bigger case for Coventry Bees had they survived.
