Think that’s the key thing, I can’t see us getting as much for Dabo as he is worth to us. Selling him for a few million (if we then got relegated) would be financial madness. Someone offers >£10m then we’ve got a choice to make, someone offers £5m I hope we tell them where to go personally...

Last time we were in this league we sold our best players and got relegated. Hopefully Robins can convince SISU of the importance of keeping hold (or at the very least having a capable replacement before we sell) this time round.

In the book Staying Up (I think) they talk about some players just have the ability to ‘ping’ a ball and some never do. Macca was the best ‘pinger’ at the time. Hamer can ping a ball for sure.
