An interesting stat about a settled first 11

comes as no surprise. Drives me batty. Happened too much last couple of seasons particularly with strikers. No wonder some of these strikers don't settle if they're constantly in and out of the side. What's wrong with having a 1st choice partnership and using sub appearances if necessary? Got...

    Fisher Yesterday

exactlythis. Only threat of administration under this model would be if the owners or ARVO called their loans in. Unlikely to happen.

    Fisher Yesterday

There still has to be a point when the money SISU have tied up in the club has to be showing a return for investors. It's not SISU's money it belongs to investors. Surely one of the reasons SISU have this breakeven policy is that they can't find it easy to get their investors to agree to...

    Ben Stevenson - Brentford

I do like the Peterborough model. Very open plain speaking senior management - Fry & MacAnthony. Acknowlege the limitations of the club's potential (big in league 1, too small financially for Championship) so compensate by having a commitment to attacking, entertaining football.

    Phone number for Sisu's office.

gaynor sounds like fun. do like a girl with a sense of humour. maybe a new campaign should be let's get Gaynor on the board instead of Deering. she looks a bit of a misery!!!

    Ben Stevenson

Fisher was quite clear in those 2 radio interviews that only a small part of any transfer fees received would be going back into the team. Much the same as with the Maddison money.

    Ben Stevenson

Get blamed on the fans again - not turning up or those that do getting the club fined for being on the pitch.

    Red Bull Coventry?

who'd want to buy a club that doesn't own its own stadium :)

    Slade's Budget ?

he was asked that in one of those radio interviews and clearly said only a small amount from sales would be available as priority was to balance the books. Much the same as with Maddison sale. Think it might have been an answer to Jim white. only hope of decent money coming in is if Wilson is...

Why Russell Slade is the man to save CCFC

maybe having worked at Charlton it won't be such a culture shock for him coming here. Bad owners there too!

Coventry City will die if we stay at the Ricoh - Fisher

Surprisingly Grendel isn't definitely wrong on this 750k. I heard it from an insider from when CA was still here trying to talk about rental deals before talks were called off supposedly because of the court actions etc. Did hear it was for short-term deal and could be a smaller figure for a...

    EFL futures project

nice concept but silly money. out of 2300 registered players across 72 league clubs only 185 have qualified this season (english qualified under 21). Hardly a healthy stat nationallly but I reckon we've got about 12 of them inc. loan players

    Police investigation

Seems ridiculous to ban fans when Fisher says we need money to pay any fine. Rather than building bridges & calming things down as Fisher said he wants to bans would widen the rift. Warnings should be fine. Also seeing as it was a peaceful protest is there a real difference in the eyes of the...

    TIM FISHER's BPA Lies

IF there is to be some sort of non-matchday arrangement with BPA already lined up is it such a stretch that other agreements/deals can't be made?

    New manager, new chairman/woman?

If you get anybody as Chairwoman it would have to be Karen Brady. Anyone that could get that sort of deal for the Olympic stadium has to be worth having :)

    This club is dead

Didn't that David on CWR say he was an accountant when he pushed Fisher on the EBIT? Shame he didn't call him on this 70m

    This club is dead

it's not dead but has to be seen as being on life support with a grim prognosis. best case scenario it just survives relegation this season. fisher wasn't able to provide anything positive that you could feel confident in believing in for the future of the club.

    This club is dead

Still a slow death. Crowds have halved in 10 years. That's a high % of kids (the future of the club) that have now decided to be Utd, Liverpool etc. fans. How many of us became City fans as young kids and never let go? That was the traditional hook for a club's fans. You went up with your dad...

Fisher live on CWR.... the countdown begins.

not really it means the Maddison money is still covering ongoing losses until the next player is sold. FIsher was challenged on money from player sales this morning and this evening and clearly said only a small part of player income could be reinvested in new players. Have to wonder if this...

    Fisher is the problem

I'm actually with JHC on this. Fisher isn't the problem - he's the public persona of it. There's another thread going about what would you do if you became Chairman. Answer not a fat lot if you have zero support from the owners. It does actually surprise that the owners haven't sacked him in...
