2-year old killed in hit-and-run, McDonald Road

Devastating news for the family. That evil bastard has destroyed a family with his evil behaviour. Heart just goes out to the mother and the remaining kids.

    Big Sam sacked

But Everton fans accepted (even celebrated ) years of Moyes's football which apparently now is unpalatable to West Ham fans. Everton have a history of playing with a big no9 and getting the ball into him. koeman had Everton playing the football that kept the fans happy in his 1st season then the...

    Big Sam sacked

Nothing to do with nationality etc. It's just a fashionable trend to bring in foreign coaches - many with pretty ordinary CVs - and expect some miraculous transformation of fortune. West Ham & Everton are two specific cases because their fans have particular associations with the type of...

    Big Sam sacked

Basically West ham and Everton owners appoint "sexy" foreign coaches to keep fans happy. These coaches fail then it's the old reliable managers that step in to save the day. Job done and on yer bike and same owners begin search for new "sexy" foreign coach to start the process again. Odds on...

    Big Sam sacked

Said when he got the job he'd be gone in the summer. Everton fans were never going to take to his football (once he'd rescued them!!). There's some good players there and they have spent money compared to everyone lse outside top 6

Pundits lauding Ed Smith's influence for Buttler selection. Likes attacking, exciting cricketers etc. It's all fine if you have a solid base/score to build on but top of the order just aren't producing that.

Just don't see Sibley as an opener. He's a middle order hitter. Seems crazy going into a season without specialist openers even if Rhodes is going well for now.

Also about time Woakes came home. Sitting on his backside doing nothing leading into a Test series isn't helping anyone (except Pakistan). Hasn't played for nearly a month - probably rules him out of Pakistan tests.

    Bellew v haye

No surprise. Same as last fight Haye looked old and slow just hoping to land a big one. Not as if Bellew is known as a knock-out puncher - even at cruiser weight Should have quit after Chisora fight. Just too much money on offer for so many of these "former" boxers to turn down.

    SAF taken to hospital...........

Wish him the very best. He was involved with some charity projects as I was involved with about 15 years ago for at-risk kids and child homelessness. Very generous with his time and his network of contacts. Know he was still doing a lot with many charity projects up until recently.
