Barnsley and Peterborough have apparently had offers accepted for Tom Moncur. The fee surely can't be the £1m some were quoting if a League One and an only just promoted Championship team are in for him.
I'm all for it. Has worked well in the NFL, where there are more black head coaches, coaches and executives among 32 teams than of all the 92 Football League teams.
That's the one. Crazy that he came on trial and we didn't sign. For all our sanity, hopefully it was him and his family deciding it was too far from home rather than the club rejecting him :banghead:
There was something on Sky Sports about him and it showed him wearing a Cov kit. Think he might have been in the academy for a year - maybe even less - before moving on.
An incredible description of Obadeyi that I found:
"Have you seen Jurassic Park? Of course you have. You’re not some sort of weird, social outcast who’s never watched one of the greatest movies of all time. Well, do you know the bit where Ian Malcolm (that’s Jeff Goldblum to the ignorant)...
This is atrociously written, with cherry-picked numbers and is a rant rather than an opinion. No self-respecting editor would actually allow something like this on their website.
Was saying that he couldn't defend whatsoever. Yes he looked good on the ball, but always shied away from making tackles in training and couldn't hack anything physical.
Pretty sure Wasps just signed an Aussie player for over £1M a season, and he just suffered a bad injury. Couple that with Danny Cipriani, James Haskell, etc and their wage bill must be huge. Will be interesting to see their accounts, if they're ever released.
Please tell me in which of these seasons they spent massively?

Burnley literally just won the Championship while averaging around 16-18,000 a game. They don't have mega-rich owners pumping tens of millions into the club.
Don't understand the argument about a 15-25,000 capacity holding us back.
Encouraging words from Gannon - makes me a tiny bit hopeful something can be resolved.
Knowing our luck, the rest of the council will tell him to shut up and tow their line.
Is it just me or does Cllr Maton seems to revel in being a complete and utter knob! Get the feeling that he can't wait to veto this and damage CCFC yet again.
