Bedworth parkrun 2nd birthday and 100th event on Saturday. The course shall be run backwards.

I want to get into the 20-21 area ASAP so I can then take the foot off for a while before going for it again in the summer. To answer some of your earlier questions I’m mid 30s, a couple of stone overweight with a poor diet. I’m hoping I can lose a stone or two and increase the pace from that too.

How far is this?

I’ve only done the distance once. Cov half last year, with a chest infection. 2hours 5. I did 10miles around Draycote over Christmas in just under 1hour30. so it’s all a bit unknown territory for me, but still got plenty of time to practice and build up pace over distance.

Smashed my 10km pb at Draycote this weekend. Knocked 2 minutes off my previous best now comfortably under 49.30 over this distance. I’m wondering if I can get 1hr 45 in the cov half in April????
